My first several consultations and viewings went well and both Mark and Corrina seemed nice. After the inspection, I had several concerns about the house and Mark lost his temper with me. It was very unprofessional. He told me to stop asking questions. Mark also likes to talk about his conservatism, guns and how much money he has. I I just don’t discuss politics at work or with my clients. I tend to think it is bad form regardless of my positions. As a first time buyer, I needed patience from the realtor. What I got was crummy service and an angry realtor. They only took me to see a dozen houses so it wasn’t like I wasted tons of their time casually looking. The owner’s agent for the house accidentally de-winterized the house improperly, resulting in water damage to one of the walls between my initial showing of the house and the inspection. They definitely did not help me advocate for the owner to correct the situation or give me a price reduction. They told me Fannie Mae sells as is. I contended that the«as-is» value had dropped, so even if Fannie Mae was unwilling to fix the situation they should give me a price reduction. Piping, insulation and the drywall had to come out to stop mold growth. I’ll be looking elsewhere in the future.
