Burritos are on the sloppy side, leaky, messy and fall apart, but the nachos are always winners. Chipotle and Qdoba win but fuzzy’s beats freebirds.

I have been to Fuzzy’s many times and to many locations. My go-to order is either the Shredded Chicken Burrito or Salad. The big salads at the Mineral Wells location come with feta and some Mexican cheese blend. In my opinion shredded cheese should be banned and is what lazy people use because it really just requires opening a package. It is tasteless: Did it really come from a block of cheese anyways? This rant is relevant because unfortunately no feta appears on the Weatherford Fuzzy’s salads… just tasteless cheese blend. Occasionally when I care less about money I swap the Shredded Chicken for the Fajita Chicken. It really is quite tasty and the money difference is rather insignificant, but sometimes I behave very Scrooge-like. During my most recent visit, I ordered the Shredded Chicken Salad and the amount of chicken was insane. I am afraid that one too many chickens sacrificed a breast for my salad, especially because the chicken was just not very good. I’ll probably stop penny pinching and stick to the fajita chicken. Just a note on the service: Everyone I have encountered has been rather friendly, but recently it has taken too long to receive my food. I’m pretty sure they follow the conventional number system, and my number has been called almost ten orders after its place in line. I understand a few, but ten, really? Just open that Mexican cheese blend bag and toss it with some already cooked chicken and lettuce. Also if you’ve gotten this far into reading this you’re lucky enough to hear about a relatively interesting customer who may or may not frequent the place, but made himself right at home. He was an elderly man wearing the traditional country garb and a very festive American flag button down. No, he was not eating as most people do. He was two stepping and singing(loudly) to the old country music. Occasionally he stopped the strange behavior to sit — as most people do — and knit. He was not drinking Dos Equis, but he may very well have been the most interesting man in Fuzzy’s.

I love fuzzys! I eat here regularly and it is cheap, fast and great. The cheese enchiladas are creamy and just simply delicious. Try their cilantro lime rice! It’s a perfect compliment to the meal.

Large menu for an American-mex joint. The food tasted very fresh. Beer on tap. Cashier wasn’t very helpful with suggestions and seemed annoyed with our questions.

We love fuzzy’s! The queso is to die for! The cheese enchiladas are the best! It would be nice if they had a drive through! Sometimes I’m craving fuzzy’s but I’m not in the mood to go in. other than that I wouldn’t change a thing!

The queso is my favorite! I ordered a shredded beef taco and received a ground beef taco. They switched it out for me and it was good. My kids unfortunately do not care for the tacos, queso or salsa here. We’ve tried it a few times. It’s hard to go places as a family that my kids don’t enjoy. This will not stop me from going again though! We live in OKC, so we will be back!

Any place that serves breakfast tacos all day is a gift. Thanks Fuzzy’s for letting me enjoy the most important meal of the day, any time of day!

Fuzzy’s is just Fuzzy’s. Good baja fish tacos, fun atmosphere, loved the outdoor patio with hanging lights. Prices are good, good queso but they need real salsa rather than hot sauce that you squirt out of a bottle.

I’m doing a version of the Daniel fast that allows for fish, but not dairy. Shout to Fuzzy’s for accommodating my diet and having so many options. I had to stop myself after I’d ordered a grilled fish taco, a grilled shrimp taco, a crawfish taco, and my goodness a veggie quesadilla. Even when I’m not fasting, the seafood salads are a top choice. Next time I’ll get that… again. Thanks, Fuzzy’s! xo

There are many aspects that make going out to eat a great experience. Food, service, atmosphere… but when one aspect is so painfully lacking, it can overpower the good aspects to make the experience truly suck. Being a tourist from San Diego, I found Fuzzy Tacos on Unilocal and it was rated well. I decided to give it a shot. Upon entering, I was greeted by a cashier that very effectively telegraphed to me that she didn’t want to be there. I asked what she recommended and she said«tacos.» Well thank you Captain Obvious!!! Now go update your Facebook status on how bored you are at work. The food was good, but the experience upon entering made me feel like i was really inconveniencing the staff. I felt like I should have just left, so the cashier staff can get back to doing nothing. Then I thought, no, I want a damn taco!!! I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience has motivated me to take the extra time to compose my thoughts. So let me begin where the cashier was lacking… the taco plate with fajita beef were great, along with the sweet tea.

Stopped here on a road trip. Great patio and the dogs enjoyed the mini fountain. Atmosphere was a good relief from driving. Fish tacos and guac were delicious.

Pretty pathetic food. Crummy décor. The«Queso Dip» is just that… flavorless melted cheese with no spices. No one in the the restaurant had ever heard of «Chili con Queso»…in Texas! The staff are all morons. Even fast food taco places are better than this. A LOT of money wasted for a TINY amount of cold, bland food.

Just wanted to pop off a quick review and mention this was a great Fuzzy’s experience. I’ve been hitting Fuzzy’s since the first one near TCU. I’ve always considered the franchised locations OK, but nothing to rave about(other than draft beer selections are usually quite good). That opinion changed upon our visit to the Weatherford location. Customer service was top notch, as we were checked on several times as we sat on the patio. Previous Fuzzy’s experiences have been«served and forgotten» but this visit broke the mold. If more Fuzzy’s followed this model I would frequent them more often. I am hoping the new Granbury location(opening soon) will be a similar experience, as it will be a great addition to Granbury. Also it seems like this location is much more generous with the protein portion of the food than other locations I have been too. While the food hit the standard Fuzzy’s notes for taste, it was a welcome surprise to actually see beef and pork falling out of the taco shells! Nice touch Weatherford Fuzzy’s! PS. I was told that the owner of this franchise also has a Fuzzy’s in Decatur,.and that location has a bar. Now that’s something I’d like to check out. Again, I hope the Granbury location will emulate this.

Delicious, fresh tex-mex with a tropical flair. Dining room is a bit noisy, but the food quality and value offset the lack of ambiance!

I’ve had dinner at the Fort Worth location of Fuzzy’s, and stopped at this Weatherford location to fuel me for the cross-Texas drive that day. Fuzzy’s is a ways off the freeway, but I really didn’t want fast food breakfast and I desperately wanted a breakfast burrito. The joint was empty when I got there, but the service was friendly and my burrito came out fast. I ordered a chorizo burrito only to find that chorizo meant Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage, not Mexican chorizo. It was OK as a burrito. Better than an Egg McMuffin would have been. The real highlight was watching a Texan come in as I was leaving, order a jumbo beer and proceed to pound it. At 9:00AM. Awesome.
