Strands Salon

I followed Karen Smith from salon to salon, and now she has her own place in Weatherford. She is warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment you walk in. I also love the atmosphere and clientele at Strands.
I’ve been getting my hair highlighted or ombré by Karen for nearly 5 years now. She always listens to my descriptions of what I want and how I want to tweak the color. I also love how well-​informed she is about the latest colors and styles.
The reason I initially sought Karen out was because Ulta ruined my beautiful blonde hair by dying it a blackish, swampy green when they were supposed to add subtle lowlights. The color was atrocious and uneven and I was afraid it couldn’t be undone. False. Karen fixed it because she’s an expert at color correction.
Plus, the salon is affordable. It’s easily the best place in Weatherford, and I even drive here from the Fort.
