Round Table Pizza

Only place in the whole area open on Sunday so…
Clean, kids that work their GREAT.
Ya its Round Table, but the price is right.

Very impressed with cleanliness of this spot, the «Hands On» approach of mgr., and the perfectly prepared pizza. Today’s salad/​pizza buffet for under$ 8 was a bargain & the air conditioning provided relief fr 102 temp outside!

Really a good little place to get a bit to eat for lunch. Me an a co-​worker stopped in for lunch an the staff was really naice an very helpful. An i really enjoyed the food it was great all in all i really enjoyed the experience.

Staff was friendly in person but rude and horrid on the phone. Pizza was OK and over priced but it came out hot and quickly. Arcade is too outdated. Lying around they have some kids game which is nice but mostly old puzzles. Fly’s were pretty bad inside but it seems to be the area.

We stopped by this Round Table twice since we were camping at Trinity Lake. The first time the woman at the register said «I don’t want to be here» and made us feel very uncomfortable. I had seen a review on this restaurant, which I believed to be on Unilocal but can’t find now, where an employee had said this exact thing to another customer! I was wondering if we should even stop when I came in because of the bad reviews and my fears were confirmed! The second time we came back I ordered the lunch special and a cheese pizza for my three kids. When the manager (a twenty something male) saw my daughter take a few bites of my salad, which was small and only enough for one person, he sent someone else over to tell her to stop eating it or we would be charged. The employee’s tone was rude and shaming and I felt the whole thing was an over reaction. I wasn’t planning on having my daughter eat a whole plate and then going back for myself! I only took what I paid for! While we were eating I could hear them talking in the kitchen about us saying we were «not from their town» and «on our cell phones», since when is it a crime to be on a cell phone at a Round Table? Finally, the manager came over and I expressed my feelings that we were being treated poorly and unprofessionally, he became belittling and aggressive with me. I told him I had seen poor reviews on his restaurant and he simply didn’t care. When I expressed to him that I could see that he just didn’t care how his establishment was perceived by customers he ordered one of his employees to get a box and he threw our pizza into the box and told me I had two minutes to finish my salad and get out before he called the police! Seriously folks, this is not made up! So basically he didn’t let me finish my salad and my kids their pizza, which they had lost their appetite for obviously. In an effort to keep me from «stealing» salad from his establishment he ended up stealing about 30 dollars from me! Round Table owes me money now! Way to go!

I don’t know if we were just starving or what, but we were SO happy when we came upon this Round Table’s in the middle of nowhere. It was just a few minutes past the lunch buffet cut off, but the cashier saw we had a family of 5 to feed and said not to worry about it. We all really enjoyed the selection, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the courtesy of the staff. I don’t think we’ll be back any time soon just because of how remote the location is, but if you’re passing through, eat here! They even have little board games handy for kids to play. That alone counts for a star!

Pizza ok but staff was great. Truly good crew a few times we stopped in. Pizza is ok though…
