Good for some cheap tacos and big drinks! Usually the line is pretty long but I don’t blame them! Their alcoholic drinks are worth the price. Their tacos are pretty small than you would expect though(unlike taco bell and jack n the box size), but still fresh and way better

Very slow service for a few tacos. Even after it had calmed down. The tacos were pretty bland, like they hadn’t seasoned the meat. The chips and salsa were decent, hence the second star. Also, it was like eating at a playground. Screaming, running kids everywhere not being supervised by their parents. Instant meal killer for me.

Taco Tuesday is awesome! It’s super close to work, and busy but worth it! I don’t eat here often but when I do I don’t regret it!

Oh man I loved this damn place! I hope they move into Tennessee soon. Great prices, good food, nice laid back atmosphere… I had the pork nachos and sure wish I lived close by so I could try all of the other menu items. The El Diablo margarita was great. Now I’m looking up jalapeño margarita recipes to make at home. There was a few service issues(charged $ 7 for the $ 5 El Diablo as I didn’t ask for the Tecate beer but I guess they decided I needed it; one menu item was omitted from our order even though we were charged for it-it was quickly found and given to us though; my wife ordered a banana margarita but was given a regular but they quickly swapped it out) which keeps it from getting five stars.

Amazing food !!! Prices were very reasonable for the delicious food. I had 2 Baja Chicken tacos. The meat was so tender, topping so crisp and fresh I really hope they can come closer to Louisville Area, they be a hit for sure!

The last several times we have come(yes we frequent this place for weekend late breakfast) it has take sometimes more than 20mins to get to the register. Then another 20+ to get food. This will be our last time here for a while. This is clearly an issue easily solved with much better staff planning. Always good food. Just wish the management could schedule better.

Food was okay but it took 25 minutes to get it when it wasn’t busy. The kitchen staff was too busy talking to worry about getting guests served and the pagers in the basket buzzed constantly. They never went off! Oh, and the ice machine jammed. I can’t really say the food was bad but sometimes it’s not worth the hassle. Sheesh!

Should of been a EEK! by the customer service, or shall I say attitude that I received by one female cashier and the GM; but I gave it a Meh… since the food overall was pretty decent. I am going to start out by saying that I am forty plus and in food service(don’t pre-judge me now… I am not a food snob by any means, I said that their food was pretty decent). My experience was later on a Friday evening, well after regular dinner hours. I started out by getting one their burritos with a side of rice and a nice Mexican beer. Well, since I had started eating so late, this did not yet satisfy me; therefore I ordered their chicken nachos. My nachos took a very long time for them to prepare(I am sure that the two cooks were probably at this point pretty tired from their long evening of orders); so I went up to the self service window to check on my order and the one of the cooks sort of rudely tells me that they call out your name or whatever as soon as your order is ready. Cool, I was just checking since nothing had been coming out of the window for a while now. Nachos finally ready… looks good at first glance… two bites into it on the right side a hair, no huge deal, although kind of a long piece, stuff happens, like I previously mentioned I too are in food service. Several more bites, now working onto the mid-left section of my nachos. Another hair. This time, shorter and black; but the hair is stuck within the melted cheese sauce. Now, I have had enough and just want my money back at this point. So, I proceeded to go back up to the cashier and told her my story about the two hairs and how I had excused the first one and that I understood that things happen. Next comes out one of the cooks and he starts out by looking at me, then looking at my almost half eaten nachos and tells me that«this isn’t my hair» and looks at me some more… oh, I have black hair as well. I then said to him«hey, just give me my money back, end of story». No apologies, anything, just a lot of body language out of the cook. I finally was to my wits end and asked to see the manager, he tells me that he Is the Manager. Well, I come from a customer service background and proceeded to tell him that this is not how you handle your customers. Did I also mention that with me came two entire tables of adults that each had two drinks a piece and some more than one dinner each. Well, I can’t stop the others in my group from ever coming back; but for me I am done. I will be going to another establishment that for the same price or less takes your order, brings me my Mexican or Tex-Mex, has real salsa, not hot sauce and appreciates my business. Support local… this wasn’t my choice… I’ve heard good things… but it’s a no bueno for me.

Had a fantastic lunch at Fuzzys! Great Sangria, super Soft Tacos with Cilantro Lime Rice. And their Big Nacho’s with everything were GREAT!!! This is becoming a favorite of mine!!!

Wow!!! Fuzzy’s is not your average taco shop. There was a slight line when we arrived but it moved pretty fast. The staff is friendly and helpful which is always a plus. The place is bright and spacious. This location was clean as well. The prices are reasonable and the food selection is on point. The first plus-A nice selection of alcoholic beverages from beers to Margarita’s. And the best part if you’re torn between two flavors you can do a ½ and ½ split on the Margarita’s. The y come in 2 sizes, opt for the large at $ 5.50 in a frozen glass with either salt or sugar rimmed. The beer selection is tops because they offer Angry Orchard for those of us whom enjoy a sweeter beer. The taco selection is off the chain and they fill them with a generous portion of meat. My absolute favorite side is the borracho beans which are cooked in beer with bacon and spices… delish!!! The Latin fried potatoes with onions and spices are another great choice. The mix-mex fried rice was OK. We enjoyed the chips and salsa, well worth the $ 1.99. With Fuzzy’s we learned ordering everything at once wasn’t a good idea. We’ve decided for our next visit to start with drinks and chill awhile, then order our food so everything is spaced out. You order everything at the counter, wait for your drinks, snag your chips and salsa on the side and pick a table or booth and wait for your order# to be called and pickup at the huge window. I love the fact they put a roll of paper towels on every table. We highly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be returning.

This was not my first time at Fuzzy’s but it was my first time ordering the nachos. Wow! Look at the size of those things! I did my best and there was still half left all for like $ 7. They were also very good. The place was packed at dinner time on a Thursday night. This is not a gourmet experience and you don’t get waited on but I get the concept. It’s great for families and the menu is large enough everyone can get what they want but they also have an extensive and very reasonably priced drink menu. I am not a margarita person but I can see the appeal. On previous visits I have tried the tacos and one of the salads and all has been satisfactory. If you’re looking for really awesomely delicious tacos this might not be the best place and I can name lots of others but give it a shot if you’re in the area!

You’ve heard the expression, «Don’t judge a book by its’ cover». Well, I am hear to tell you, do not judge a taco shop by its name. I have been ignoring Fuzzy for a long time and now I regret that I didn’t give them a try earlier. I was expecting a Taco Bell type restaurant and that was the furthest thing from my experience. Fuzzy may not offer table service, but the quality of food exceeds some of the better known Mexican restaurants that do. As you enter the taco shop, you place your order for food and alcoholic beverages. Yes, Fuzzy has booze and their frozen Margaritas will give you a brain freeze and kick your ass. I was amazed how strong they were. I’m normally not a fan of frozen drinks, but this one is one of the best frozen Margaritas I have ever enjoyed. After placing your food order, you move on to the next counter around the corner. Sometimes you are given a vibrating beeper or you just wait until your number is called out. They hustle in the kitchen and our food was prepared in minimal time. There are no free chips and salsa here and I like it that way. So many times when a restaurant does offer them, you munch and munch until you are to full to enjoy the entrée you ordered. We ordered Chips and Queso and the portion they served was the perfect size for two. Both of us liked how they sprinkled the chips with chili powder. The queso is thick and clings to the chips after being dipped. We both ordered Taco Plates which comes with two tacos and two sides. We both ordered Tempura Fish and would rate it second best in the city. Our second tacos were Fajita, one beef and one chicken. Both were tender and seasoned well. Sampling each others, we agreed the beef was the best. As side dishes, we both selected the Cilantro Lime Rice which was way better then the traditional Mexican Rice you get at the budget Mexican Restaurants. I had the Refried Beans, which again surprised me with the quality. However, my friends Borracho Beans will be what I will order next time. They were spicy and the perfect side dish for tacos. Next time I want inexpensive Mexican food, I’m driving past all the local little El and Del blanks and going straight to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop. I take better food over table service any day. Also, for all my single lady Unilocalers, there were a lot of hot single men dining alone at Fuzzy’s. I’m just saying… When: September 4, 2015 Why: Dinner

What’s not to love? Fast, fresh, friendly, tasty and super inexpensive, $ 10 or less per person! I’m hooked! I’ve only been to this location during the lunch rush and as busy as it was recieved my order in 5 minutes or less every time. Surprised by how generous the portions are, the Lil’ Salad is hardly lil’… I’ve tried a few things, like them all but I’m in love with the Queso and Chips. They have a nice outdoor seating area I highly recommend if the weather is right.

I know that Fuzzy’s is the new«favorite» of everyone in town, and I had a decent experience there, but it’s definitely not my new favorite Mexican. It was Totally Tuesday(I was told that they’re not allowed to say«Taco Tuesday» any more) — and all tacos were $ 1.50. I ordered three. They were tasty, and really filled me up. Again, not the best tacos I’ve ever eaten, but they made for a nice meal. However, the blueberry margarita pitcher that I shared was just overly sweet and made me feel sick. I could only manage to drink one glass, and half of our pitcher went to waste. The front counter staff and line cooks were all really friendly… but there was one particular disgruntled female employee who dropped a salsa cup then stomped around upset the rest of the night. It was a somewhat of a sight to see. Would I eat here again? Sure. Am I excited to return? Not really.

There is really nothing I don’t like about Fuzzy’s! I have been several times and a few friends have encouraged me to try the shrimp tacos, I just couldn’t do it. Seafood and Mexican just didn’t seem to go together to me but tonight I finally gave in. Amazing! I got the tempura shrimp soft taco, so so good! I ate it all right away, then was somewhat disappointed in my usual ground beef tacos. I think I’m forever stuck on the shrimp now! Fuzzy’s also has my favorite drink, Wild Blue Maragrita. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and sour and just different enough to keep me coming back to Fuzzy’s just for that. I’ve tried to recreate it at home and it’s ok but nothing compares to a Fuzzy’s Wild Blue!

Yum! I really like Fuzzy’s. Great prices, and really good food. I went with my boyfriend, his sister and brother-in-law, and their two kiddos. It was a good spot to bring kids, but you can also sip on a margarita or beer! To start you walk up to the counter and order, and then they give you a buzzer to come to the window to come and get your good. It was pretty busy on a saturday night, but they did a really good job with keeping the line moving. To start we had chips and guac, and also some queso, really good stuff. Can’t really go wrong there. Then I ordered two fish tacos in soft tortilla, one grilled and one fried. Both were really good. I was starving, I probably could have gone for another one too. My boyfriend’s sister and I split a watermelon margarita, really good! I would totally go back for that. My boyfriend’s nephews are 6 and 8 and they both got orders of nachos, way to big for one person. They serve you a lot of food. It was pretty funny trying to watch them finish it. I totally plan on coming back, and would bring my family and friends. Go Fuzzy’s!

Can’t believe I have never reviewed Fuzzy’s Tacos!?! Well, this location is great fun! Not only is the food very affordable, always freshly made, with huge portions, but the atmosphere is really what makes this place. The owner or manager has really come up with creative ways to get people in the door from their $ 1 Taco Tuesday nights to their Thursday and Saturday trivia, I have never seen this place empty. Most of the crowd are regulars who continually patronize this location for their good food, awesome drinks and friendly service. Keep up the great work!

Wow! Just wow! Those were the best tacos I have ever eaten. I had the shredded beef and special ground beef. Both were equally pleasing. It is the cheese, garlic and something else they put on them that made the difference for me. I like that they have buzzers, so you know when your order is ready, as mine was a to go order. While I waited, the ambience was a bit loud, but nice. I can’t wait to return and try more!!!

Consistently delicious food and drink. At this price point it really can’t get any better. Portions are v generous. Drinks deliver in a ‘bang for your buck’ kind of way. I recommend going on a ‘taco tuesday’ and trying a bunch of different ones. Personal favorites include the spicy pork, tempura fish, and grilled shrimp tacos. I haven’t tried it, but you can even get a crawfish taco if that tickles your fancy. Usually i pair my meal with a beer-rita. The diablo beer-rita has a spicy rim and a splash of jalapeño juice in it. For your health. The ambiance is super casual. Seat yourself. Bus your own table(or don’t. But you’re an ass hole if you do that). Staff are always super friendly and there is plenty of parking. Give it a try. Doit.

Well, this was a pleasant surprise! I finally tried Fuzzy’s after driving by it more times than I can count and I can say I’m a fan. This will be a nice, cheaper alternative to Q’doba when I want something better than Taco Bell. I tried the bean/cheese nachos and the shredded beef burrito. The nachos were gigantic(only $ 3.50) and ooey gooey delicious. You could easily make a meal out of these. The shredded beef burrito was the star of the show and will, likely, become my go-to item every time I go to Fuzzy’s. It’s the perfect size, a bit smaller than Q’doba or Chipotle, and comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, guac and some kind of cream garlic sauce. The meat was so succulent and I appreciate that they don’t overload it with ingredients so you can taste the ingredients that are actually there. Very tasty! The place, itself, is like a mash up of a fast casual and sit down Mexican restaurant, complete with booze and TVs. You order your food at the counter, then they give you a buzzer to pick it up yourself. Give Fuzzy’s a try. Once you do, you’ll see that there’s really nothing like it.
