The food is surprisingly good for a bar, and very reasonable in price, but don’t expect good or quick service.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to with this place. It’s a diamond in the rough. You would never tell from the outside but this place is amazing. With no fried food, and tons of homemade specials it’s a friendly high quality establishment. Definitely a worthwhile visit off the highway. I had the Irish stew special to start and the pastrami & cheese entrée. I’ll be stopping by the next time I’m headed by. Friendliest staff ever. A must visit spot!!!

My wife and I ate here once around St. Patrick’s day. I had the corned beef and cabbage. The corned beef was decent; otherwise the food was very average. The service less so, as there is no waitress (you have to order from the barmaid), you get plastic utensils (are you kidding me? Might as well go to a fast food place), and the table was not clean.

Thiis place is fantastic. Great prices, plenty if homecooked meals to choose from. A different special every night. Thursday’s meatloaf is awesome. One might not expect much when they walk through the door, but the friendly atmosphere and the food will please you.
