I went in on a Sunday around 1:30pm. I ordered, paid, got my food, and left in under 10 minutes. The serving size was great for the price, and the food was really good. One comment — if you don’t LOVE onions, don’t add the«peppers and onions» to your food. I found one single slice of pepper in my tacos — the rest was insane amounts of onion, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did notice it was kind of messy. There were several dirty tables and the beverage station needed to be wiped down. However, I came in just after lunch time, so it didn’t surprise me too much.

Because I live in the area, I come here pretty often – about once or even twice a week. I typically come in during the afternoon, and the workers here during this time are usually very friendly and respectful. The quality of the food I order during these daytime hours is also consistently pretty good. I stopped by here for dinner tonight, however, and everything was completely off. My experience here was so bad, in fact, that I’m feeling compelled to write this review only an hour after leaving there(I was there at about 6:30 pm tonight). First of all, the service was incredibly slow. I was waiting in line for what felt like nearly ten minutes, which is a pretty long wait time considering there were only two customers in front of me. Granted, the wait alone wasn’t that big of a deal to me. I’m a very patient person, and the woman working at the cash register seemed very friendly and kind. What bothers me is the long wait *coupled with* the absolutely horrendous food that I ended up with. I simply can’t believe I bothered waiting that long for such a disgusting pile of garbage. More on that food: I ordered a basic salad bowl with a variety of items, including some rice and refried beans. The problem is that those two items in particular were obviously very old and/or overcooked. The beans were crusty and dry and the rice was hard and crunchy. These added a strong burnt flavor that overwhelmed everything else. No joke, this was the most disgusting thing I’ve EVER purchased from any type of restaurant(whether full-service or fast-casual like Bullritos). It was as if they deliberately sought out the nastiest and oldest rice and beans that they could scrape out of a two-day-old container. In fact, the food actually *looked* so bad to me that my first thought literally was, «did those guys do something weird to my food?» The guys I wondered about were the two line workers who made my food. They both seemed like the typical, douchey, 20-something male worker who angrily hates his job in food service. These types sometimes take out their anger at customers they might randomly dislike by screwing around with their orders. While I didn’t have any interaction with these particular employees other than them seeing me waiting in line right in front of them, I honestly don’t know how they could have given me such old/overcooked food without doing so deliberately. I’m not one to be paranoid about this sort of thing, but I truly am convinced that they did this to me on purpose. I have no idea why, but there’s no other logical explanation for how they managed to give me that food. This was a to-go order that I brought home, but I honestly came very close to returning to Bullritos to demand a refund. This is saying a lot because I’m not at all the type of person to do that. I swear I’m not *that guy*. I subscribe more to the belief that a much more effective way of impacting a bad business is through negative word-of-mouth online, which is why I ultimately opted for this review rather than waste my time going back there. My advice to anyone else considering visiting this Bullritos location: if you do so, visit them only during the afternoon. The service during those hours is typically pretty good. In fact, that is the only reason I’ll contemplate changing this one-star review to something more neutral. Right now, however, I’m too pissed off to even consider anything other than a one-star review. This definitely feels appropriate at the moment.

I went into the restaurant around 7:45 on a Saturday and it was completely empty, except for a little girl whom I’m guessing was one of the employees kids. The sign on the door says they close at 9pm. I went to the counter to order and the cashier told me they were closing and had already shut down most of the kitchen. When I commented that the door said they closed at 9pm, I was given a blank stare and nervously told me that they were closing early that night… If this is business as usual, I can see why the restaurant was empty at 7:45 on a Saturday night.

This location went from«just okay» to «don’t bother». I agree with the other recent reviews that the restaurant has gone downhill. My last visit will be my last visit. I went to the line to get a burrito to go and sat waiting about 15 minutes –pretty standard, but then the kid behind the register walked up and said they were out of cilantro rice and if Mexican rice is okay. A little disappointed because I really like cilantro rice and not sure how they ran out at 5 o’clock in the evening, I agreed and asked how much longer would it be– he said another 10 to 15 min minutes. Waiting half hour for a burrito that’s not that great at a semi fast food place is not my idea of good service. So I asked him to just give me my money back and I would leave, which he did do but the register wouldn’t print out the receipt to put it back on my card so that was a big issue, it took about 10 minutes just to get my money back. Just a fee other things I noticed… Their ice cream machine is always out of service, during this visit the tables were dirty(Often half the tables are dirty) and the table I was sitting at while waiting had a burned-out lightbulb. It’s clearly not managed well, not kept up well, and the staff don’t know what they’re doing. I won’t be back.

We never come to this location because it is always terrible. Horrible service, food is never fresh. However today we decided to give it another chance. I arrived at 715 and there were two customers in front of me, one waiting, and two families eating. Fairly slow for a Friday night. I ordered two bowls with one side of chips. The server at the counter told me I had to wait because they were so slammed(again there were not many people there). He got my order and then began to make up excuses for running out of chips. He stated the morning crew didn’t make him enough, he just ran out, it was so slammed that he couldn’t get off the line to make any. He offered no wait time for chips, just a «sorry were out». He said it would be ten minutes, I said fine, and he responded with its not fine for me. He didn’t know what all my order contained when delivering it, and I am incredibly disappointed that this is the quality of serve the Ybarra organization finds satisfactory. Chipotle definitely has you beat. I wish this location could do better, but it appears they just can’t.

Awesome food but… Ice cream machine has been broken for months. Tonight they don’t have any diet drinks AND at 8:20 they were packed up for the night. They close at 9PM… Chairs are even up on tables. I understand wanting to be efficient when you close but that’s a bit much. Guess the food will be fresh!

This was my first experience at Bullritos. It was good! Large portion sizes and yummy chicken. But I would still prefer Chipotle(where they give you a huge scoop of guacamole rather than two tiny spoonfuls) or Freebirds(where the queso isn’t too thick and heavy to put on a salad).

Very impressed with the quality of food and the portion size for the price! Much better than what I expected…

When this place first opened up I LOVED it. It was my go-to spot on my lunch breaks. Recently, I don’t know what happened. It seems like there’s a lot of kids working there now and I don’t know if that has anything to do with it but it has really went down hill. When I first started going there, my order was 100% correct every time and now it’s hardly ever correct. So…I always ask for RAW onions and cilantro on my burrito/bowl/tacos/whatever on the«special requests» line(which i seriously think needs to be added to the bag… I never understood why it wasn’t. a lot of people like raw onions on their tacos). Well, the last two times i’ve gone there, instead of adding raw onions and cilantro they added nasty sauteed onions and peppers. THOSEARECOMPLETELYDIFFERENT and that’s NOT what I asked for. I just don’t understand, i specify RAW onions on the bag and they put the sauteed ones on there. it completely changes my food and I don’t like sauteed onions on my food. Tonight when I got home with my salad, they did the same thing. ANDTHEKIDATTHECASHREGISTEREVENLOOKEDATMEANDDOUBLECHECKEDTHAT I WANTEDRAWONIONSRIGHTINFRONTOFTHECOOK!!! On top of that though, they left off the guacamole… which i paid extra for. I also asked for«easy on the refried beans»(they were out of black) and instead they drowned the salad in beans and put like 2 shreds of lettuce. I wanted a delicious, crunchy, healthy salad and I ended up with a disgusting pile of mush. Like someone else on the reviews said, seriously what is so hard about looking at the red marks on a bag and putting it all into a tortilla. I mean to completely just leave off my guacamole!!! That’s sinful. I live 5 minutes away from this place and I really considered going back and making them remake it… i’m not sure why I didn’t…instead i stupidly forced the food down and suffered through the big bowl of mush… aka«salad». I really don’t know if I’ll be going back there. And if i do decide to, I will dine-in that way when/if they mess up my order, I can make them correct it. signed, saddest meal of my life. P. S. I’ve also seen a downgrade in customer service since they opened. They used to be so friendly over there and no they literally don’t seem like they care about the customer. It’s kind of sad actually… the place has only been open for a couple of years and for it to go this sour in that short of a time frame… someone needs to seriously reconsider the management strategy for that location or they will not last much longer.

I am impressed! I am very picky and do not give out good reviews easily but I have to say my bowl was yummy! It was fresh tasting, filling and seemingly healthy. Not too salty either. I had chicken, cilantro-lime rice, black beans, corn, lettuce, tomato, chili and a little queso and sour cream. It was good! My husband had the burrito and was stuffed. This will be a weeknight staple for us now since its fast. Friendswood lacks healthy tasty food to go.

I love Bullritos! The food is always so fresh. They have some of the best guacamole out there. Love the roasted corn to go with my beef and queso bowl! Added bonus is the awesome drink machine where you can pick from hundreds of combos! The kids love them too!

well this was my first time visiting bullritos. Ordered the chips w/queso and a chicken bullrito. This is a major burrito. It’s filled with a great amount of chicken. I definitely will come back. Kudos to the cashier for giving a free drink(saying welcome to Texas)

I am an avid Chipotle hater. This place, on the other hand, is delicious! I thought all of the ingredients were fresh and delicious. Though guacamole was extra, as is with most burrito places, the sour cream was no extra charge!

Bullritos is our new standby for a quick meal. They serve made to order burritos and tacos. It is quick and the food is fresh and delicious. The menu is simple, but they have plenty of vegetarian options. My daughters love the soda machine which dispenses something like 100 different sodas. Some locations serve beer and frozen margaritas, but this one doesn’t serve alcohol due to zoning restrictions.
