Hampton Inn Rochester-Webster

It’s your typical business travelers hotel. Large functional rooms are well enough appointed for a stay of a week or less. The rooms are clean as is the whole hotel. The staff is polite and the shuttle van is nice and cordial to bringing you to local places. The rooms amenities are average though. It cheap. The free keg beer after 5pm is a nice touch though perhaps getting something a little better than Miller light and solo cups would be nice. The free breakfast is exactly what you think it should be, free and subpar. Best bet is to stick to bagel or toast ect. My biggest complaint is the dang tiny tiny mini coffee and juice cups that are good for a single sip. Thy need to change this for sure!

My extended family stayed at the Hampton Inn Rochester-​Webster for a funeral. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent. But what gets 5 stars is the service. The staff at the Hampton inn went above and beyond to accommodate my family during a very trying time. With so many stressors, having a pleasant hotel to serve as «home base» was a godsend. Thank you for going above and beyond.

I have been staying at this hotel every week for work for about a year. Minus vacations when I’m not here.
Honestly, it made me fall in love with hampton inn.
The staff: Top notch, they care, they welcome me like I just got home… The cookies help :-)
I try To always get a suite, it is spacious and love having the sink outside of the bathroom.
Everything is always super clean and comfortable.
They give me the company corporate rate which makes it very affordable :)
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate all day anytime…
Oh and the breakfast in the morning is great! Love this place

Overall quite good.
Pros:
Free cookies in the afternoon.
Free coffee/​tea/​hot chocolate in the lobby.
Free breakfast.
Free happy hour (didn’t try it).
Microwave and fridge in room.
USB charging station next to bed.
Thermostat next to bed.
Plenty of outlets.
Cons:
TV seems slightly small.
Slow complimentary internet.
No glass cups.
Placement of some furniture is awkward.

I stayed here while on business. Overall it was a pleasurable experience. The bed was comfortable, the linens were crisp, and the staff was very accommodating. They have a free happy hour down in the lounge area next to the lobby. Plus from what I have been told (I am not a morning person) they have complimentary breakfast in the morning in the same area.

I was pleasantly surprised by the updated décor and appearance of the hotel. It looked better than several upscale hotels I’ve been in lately. Simply moving the bed to a different wall, gave the room a fresh/​upscale look. Having the ability to reach from the bed to the thermostat without getting up, was extremely appreciated. I’ll be back! I hope other Hampton Inns are as nice as this one.

I stayed at this Hampton for the first time on my most recent trip to Rochester. I was not sure to expect, but there was a previous review here that indicated that it was okay, and since my other alternative was with another brand that had been poorly rated, I gave it a shot.
Check-​in was seamless and easy — what I would expect at a Hilton brand for a HHonors member. They placed me on the top floor at the end of the hall away from everyone to give me privacy and quiet. That was wonderful. The room was clean, odorless, and the temperature was easy to adjust to my comfort level.
From a service standpoint, the fill-​in night manager was great. We spoke each night at least once, and anything I needed he took care of. I had on-​time wake up calls each morning, without fail. Fantastic. My one service issue was the night of check-​in. I called down because there were no towels in the pool area, and the front desk said they would have someone bring some to the pool. After 2 hours, there were no fresh towels at the pool. Thankfully I brought one from my room.
One nice thing the Hampton Inns sport is a free breakfast. While I did not partake, there were options. Unfortunately, the fruit (one of my favorite items) looked wilted and not fresh. I’ve seen fruit out of a can that was fresher looking. The hot items were a better bet, and they had some combination of eggs, meat, and carb (biscuit or hashbrowns) each of the mornings I was there. I don’t want to sound too disparaging, I was mostly disappointed over the fruit.
Overall, it was a great stay. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in the area across several business trips, and the Hampton is definitely up there in the top 3. I will stay here again on a future trip, I’m sure.

I went on a business trip to the Rochester/​Webster area for a customer visit and I was placed here by my company’s travel agency. I had never stayed at a Hampton Inn before, so i had no idea what to expect.
I was rewarded with a spectacular level of customer service and a a GREAT room! I attached images of the hotel and the room I was in to give you an idea of what the rooms look like.
The room had free coffee and tea with coffee maker, a plasma TV, a couch, a comfy chair, lap desk for my laptop, nice huge closet, a huge bed, superb bathroom shower and plenty of room.
They offer FREE hot breakfast buffet, cereal, coffee, tea, yogurt, granola, fruits, bagels, sweets, waffle makers (with premade waffle mix) multiple juices and MUCH more! Warning, sometimes the eggs are kind of bland, but everything else was really tasty!
They had a pool, jacuzzi, gym and they also offer FREE toiletries! So if you forgot your razor, toothpaste, tooth brush and so an, never fear! Just ask the front desk and they shall provide for FREE! There is also a little «vanity kit» in the room with a nail file, qtips and cotton balls in it.
There are paper bags on the front desk for you to take if you are in a rush in the morning for free that have muffins etc in them so you can have a quick breakfast on the go!
The also have a business office where you can do work or print anything you need, also for FREE! There is also free wireless Internet in your room or wherever you decide to roam within the hotels borders!
The Hampton Inns are my FAVORITE hotel now forever, or well until they start to go downhill at any rate! WHOO HOOO!
