We recently had two of the characters appear at a family birthday party & couldn’t have been happier. They posed for pictures with the kids and adults, and were a lot of fun. The booking process was so easy, and the whole thing was a good value considering what some other companies charge.

We’ve used Houston Party Mascots twice in the past year – once for a corporate event & once for a two year old’s birthday party. On both occasions, they arrived promptly and were very professional. We have booked them for another party in November. I’d definitely recommend the company, especially since they’re local & work with you to customize their appearances for your event.

I have to say that planning a 2 year olds birthday party is stressful enough without added frustrations from potential vendors. After booking and paying for a character on August 28th– I had to follow up several times before being told on 9÷15− just 4 days before the party that they would not be able to come out for only 30 minutes because of the distance. I was also told that this information was on the website. Actually, no it is not, the website states that the company does not travel north of downtown, our party is in Fresno– which is not, in Houston Metro terms, a far cry from Webster. Instead of making a concession for a client who has already paid I was only told«I’ll have to update the website». In addition, if my reservation did not meet the company’s booking requirements why wasn’t I called and told this at the time of booking? Why do I have to harass and leave several messages before finally being told no. Here I am calling merely to confirm and get details of the day’s events and to my surprise, I am being cancelled on? Further, how can you literally the week of, cancel on a client after taking their money? Leaving them with little to no alternatives the week of? For a company run by what Is allegedly a local mother, I would assume a little more empathy and compassion as opposed to what basically amounted to «if you want to pay us more, we will come». I’m sorry $ 100 budgeted for a character appearance for 30 minutes wasn’t enough and now I am left with 0 alternatives. If 0 stars were allowed I would give it out of the pure frustration and the fact that we didn’t even get out of the blocks!
