I love me some golden crispy KFC. Fried chicken is my favorite food. I’m too poor to buy anything else but fast food but this is the gourmet fried chicken. I stop there everyday after working at Wayne middle school. It’s the best stuff ever. I love drumsticks the most. I eat KFC so much if you cut me gravy would pour out. I love drumsticks the most. I really love the taste of KFC, that is, when you have it. Birthday party… lots of people… wife stops off, makes order, picks up order after waiting 20 minutes(fast food?)… comes home… opens order… missing 1⁄3 of order. Goes back and the line is longer for the«dis-satisfied’s». KFC is essentially salt-lick, chicken, served in a round cardboard tub with a piece of paper(woefully inadequate) to soak up the grease. Let me repeat myself, I really love the taste of KFC, but people, get your act together or I’m heading over to Chit-poetley where my wife would prefer next time. You better hope that guys like me survive well into their 80’s because the ladies are much more discerning. Two stars today, because the food is a given at 4.5, but the service was the downside.

Whoever is the owner of this establishment should be embarrassed and seriously considering how long they’ll survive in business. The last time I checked, places that sell things actually want people to buy them. AND, not only buy them, but come back and buy more. Tonight at the drive thru, I asked if I could order a 6 piece bucket with white meat only. She asked how many pieces? I said 6. She said we can do that. 3 breasts and 3 wings? or all breasts? Not wanting to wipe them out of breasts, I said 3 each. Then she asked what I’d like for my one side. I said the menu board said I get two sides. She said that’s for the 8 piece. I said no, the board actually states 6 piece and 2 sides. She said we don’t have a 6 piece meal. I said well your board does. I could take a photo and show you. She said go ahead cuz I know it isn’t on there. I read it word for word to her. She said okay what do you want for your two sides. I told her. She quoted me $ 24.83. I pulled up, with my phone picture, baffled. At the window, she dropped her headset and ran away, sending a young man to wait on me. He told me my total was $ 26.99. I said she just told me $ 24.83. He said no, there’s an uplift for the white meat. I said she never told me that. He charged me the $ 26.99 and asked if I’d like to talk to her. I said no, I just want my food and to go. As I sat there waiting, I thought without feedback, how would she know to improve? There must be a manager who is unaware of this who would want to know and address something so rude. When the young man came back I asked him if there was a manager on duty. He said yes. I said I’d like to speak with them. Guess who the manager was? You guessed it, Ms. Rudeness. She came to the window and said yes? in a very snarky sort of tone, arms crossed in front of her, smirk on face. I said you are the person who took my order and told me that was I was ordering didn’t exist and quoted me the wrong price. She said that’s the price. I said you were very rude to me, and your handling of the matter was unprofessional. She said I was not rude to you. I said since I am the customer, you should be listening to me instead of telling me I’m right or wrong. If you were just an employee I“m sure a good manager could address your lack of customer service skills. unfortunately for this establishment, you are the manager, and you have a horrible attitude. With that sort of attitude overseeing employees, you will not get strong customer service skills and loyalty building behavior. I, for one, don’t plan to return to that place unless the owner personally contact me with an apology. I had not had a very good day, and being accosted over my purchase of food was just ridiculous. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. Got there at 9:22 pm before closing time, and the doors were locked. The chairs were on the tables and the staff was talking. We crosses the street and ordered Pizza at Guidas.
