I love the atmosphere! This was my first time here and it had a nice vibe, I loved the décor. We were seated very fast which I was surprised because it was so busy which I definitely am not complaining about! My friend had the NY Strip, eggs, and home fries. He ordered his steak MR and although it was cooked more medium it was still delicious. After all, it wasn’t overcooked to well done so that’s acceptable. I had cranberry walnut pancakes, eggs. ssg link, and bacon. The pancakes are divine! They were huge, fluffy, pure deliciousness! The only thing that would deter us from going back is that our server was not personable at all. Seeing how everything else was so good I’ll definitely chalk it up as maybe she was just having a bad day.

Loving this place! i’ve been wanting to try a new diner cause i’m a huge fan of them and this place is perfect to go to after or before a movie which is right across the street. This diner is very inviting just because it’s so cute on the outside and inside. when you first walk in it does seem small cause well it is so if theres a wait just know its worth it. there is a table bar when you first walk in, but also a waitress to seat you at any table if available. while you wait you can look at the menu. we were sat right away with other people ahead of us because we were only two people. We let the waitress know we had a movie to attend in about an hour and she had no problem and glad to help with the rush; so nice to hear! I got the breakfast sandwich with hash browns and have no complaint at all with any of it. it was perfect because it wasn’t that greasy if thats what you are looking for. my boyfriend got a special which was the avocado benny, i of course tried it and it was delicious! apparently it was huge hit when we told the cashier when we left. we got our check quick and able to go right to the cashier to pay. can’t wait to return!

Tried Maa’s Diner for the first time tonight. In a word: EXCELLENT! My wife ordered the steak sandwich and I had the hot turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread. My bread looked like it was hand-cut from a loaf and was wonderfully thick. The turkey was piled high and moist and very tasty. I commented that I wished my turkeys at home came out this good. The steak sandwich was also piled high and pretty darn good. The potato chips look as if they were made on premises. Salty, crispy, and full of potato flavor. The place was very busy but the service was prompt and the waitress was as sweet as could be. She acted like we were her only customers. Very attentive with frequent coffee refills. Looks like it was recently painted. Everything was clean and sparkling. This will be a new favorite spot for us!

The rating would have been much higher had the welcome been more pleasant, we entered, sat down and then a girl came up, threw the menus on the table, turned and walked away … she never said a word. Then a very nice girl named Marcie came, she was pleasant and courteous, she took our orders and worked with due diligence while the first girl flirted with a young man and it did not stop the whole time we ate the delicious meal… this is a poor way to display affection for another person, it should be on your own time. Sorry but the display from this young couple who are employees took the pleasure from an awesome meal.

Has breakfast for the first time here. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. The home fries were great, the eggs were good, but the multigrain toast was a welcomed surprise. Service was very attentive, I will return

I ordered a side of hashbrowns with a pancake egg and bacon combo, and as I was talking the waitress looked at me with disgust and said to me «you must be hungry». I was taken back and so was the friend I was eating with. Besides that the pancakes were doughy and the waitress never filled up my water again. I’ll avoid this place at all cost again.

Had lunch here yesterday. Ordered the gyro and asked the server for recommendations for the side. She recommended the mashed potatoes and gravy. The gravy tasted really bad. I left the potatoes on my plate and the server asked why I hadn’t eaten it. I said the gravy tasted off – she said yeah, they had two vats of bad gravy in the back. Then I heard someone else in the kitchen say the same thing. Why would you serve customers food that has gone bad — and why in the world would you recommend it??? The gyro wasn’t good either – fell all apart when I tried to eat it. No apology, nothing taken off my bill. These things are basic and can be remedied. But I won’t be back to check.

This is a gem of a small family diner in Webster. We walked in 15 minutes before their posted closing, but the waitress was happy to seat us and was very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. I ordered braised sirloin special which looked like a full 16oz prime rib smothered in mushrooms. It came out perfectly prepared and there was no way I could eat that much beef. There was some chewiness to the meat but the flavor was good and the value was undeniable. My wife had a Shepherd’s pie special that was well prepared, generous in portion and tasty. Also ended up taking half that home. We were back for breakfast 2 days later and not disappointed with the huge kit-kat pancake(fortunately did not order a double stack-couldn’t finish the short stack) or the Omlet special with yummy crispy home fried potatoes that were heads over tails better than Denny’s hash browns. This is a small diner with a real cozy home town family friendly feel with great waitstaff that will make you feel like family.

My family’s experience at Maa’s was surprising. Based on word-of-mouth and the reviews here I expected a much better experience. The goal was breakfast to help celebrate a birthday. The kiddos saw candy pancakes on the specials board and that was that, no menu needed. The wife selected a special and I chose the fritatta. Coffee arrived first and set the tone. Bland. We requested refills from a new pot in case we just got a bad one but the 2nd pour was no better. Pancakes were as advertised at least, light, fluffy, with enough candy to please the kids without being overly sweet. My wife’s special looked great…2 perfectly cooked eggs on top of asparagus, a slice of rib roast, some crab(fake) with hollandaise and some well cooked hash browns. Again though the seasoning was just missing. The sauce had no character at all. Just going to say it, the«fritatta» was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The ratio of potato to the other ingredients was something like 80⁄20 and they were poorly prepared with some pieces so large I had to cut them. The eggs, veggies, and sausage were non-existent and again, BLAND. If it weren’t for the hot sauce that came on top the dish would have had no flavor other than potato. Which is fine, if plain boiled potato appeals to you. I have some colleagues who enjoy this place for lunch, I’ll give it a try with them and see if the kitchen makes a better lunch. Won’t be back for breakfast.

Went for breakfast but ended up having lunch. It was around 10:30am and I asked if it was possible to order lunch. The waitress said«of course» so I was thrilled because I’m not much of a breakfast person. I had a turkey club sandwich. It hit the spot. My dining company had the French toast, eggs, bacon and home fries. They were really good! The home fries were tasty. The waitresses were very nice and friendly especially to my one year old niece :) I would come back.

This was my third trip to Maa’s! I had the home made corned beef hash and scrambled eggs which was absolutely delicious. Fantastic diner food for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be coming back

I ordered the vegetarian omelette and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of spinach mushrooms tomatoes onions and all the good vegetables that I want in a 3 egg omelet + crispy hash browns, toasted rye bread. The staff was friendly. The heating was poor. They tried. They have loyal customers.

Some of the best breakfast this sailor has ever had. The meat lovers pancakes were amazing and of course I had to help out the girlfriend eat her London Broil eggs Benedict. These were probably some of the best eggs Benedict I’ve had. The hollandaise sauce and London broil were made to perfection. I now have an another reason to drive 3 hours to Rochester don’t let my girlfriend know. Keep up the great food

We are here now!!! Special is homemade sloppy joes! Get the homemade chips to dip!!! It is FANTASTIC!!! Monica is a circus of food passion! She suggested the breakfast melt. She described it as” eggs so fluffy and cheese incredibly melty and the sourdough bread is perfect!!! SOGOOD! Thanks Maas for another unforgettable experience! Chris, Kandi & Roberta

Food and service was great. It’s a very chill laid back atmosphere. Nothing overly fancy just really good food, and big portions. I will be a regular.

As far as diner food goes, this is a four. Diner food is quick, reliable, a bit greasy, and consistent. The MAC daddy burger is delicious. A fried mac and cheese ball on top of a burger, what’s there not to love? Breakfast was your average diner breakfast, I wouldn’t drive far but if your in the area, it’s the best of the close area. I’m not a fan of their steak fries, so I usually opt for mac salad instead.

Meh’s diner. Fun little fact about me: Even if your food is decent I won’t come back if your attitudes are garbage. Calling in my order while multitasking at Lowes the girl at Maa’s said«Hello?!» When I didn’t answer in one tenth of a second to her question. Furthermore, the girl at the counter seemed appalled I didn’t tip her for bagging my take out. Ummmm am I wrong here or? Never again. The patty melt was cooked well enough and the Mac salad was bland.

In a rush for dinner, we stopped here before popping over to AMC for a movie night. We were seated within five minutes of arriving. The servers and hostess were all friendly and sweet — definitely nailed the family diner vibe. Nothing fancy, just classic diner to a T, including all the basics like breakfast platters and club sandwiches. For our entrees, we had the patty melt, which I will order again! Make sure to ask for a side of thousand island dressing as it didn’t come on the sandwich. The burger was cooked to our liking, topped with lots of melty swiss and the essential buttery, toasty marble rye. We also split the fish fry, which is a good portion, but I thought the batter lacked flavor, salt and came off too fishy. I did like the coleslaw that came on the side. The unfortunate part of the meal was the fact that we were absolutely freezing cold the whole time. We had to eat with our jackets on because if you’re seated next to the window(we were in the back corner booth along the front window), there’s a terrible draft. It took away from the experience and forced us to rush in and out of there. I’m curious to try their breakfast too(hash browns look good!), but I’ll make sure to request a seat in the back.

Using my trusty Unilocal,we came here on a whim as we drove by looking for a place to grab lunch. It appears to be the typical local diner filled with the regulars. I’ve been to this building during prior ownership and the décor hasn’t changed. The blue booths and pink walls are still there and so is the draft next to the windows. Based on the suggestions, I ordered the reuben, which is my go-to at diners. There’s a thin line with reubens when it comes to saltiness and their reuben hit it right on. The corned beef, sauerkraut, and cheese were well balanced and tasty. The heaping scoop of mac salad as my side was good too. I find some places use a mayo that has an after taste so I usually skip it, but since my bf was getting fries as a side, I got the mac to try. Their portions are hearty too. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly, down-to-earth and offered suggestions. She always came by to top off our drinks and check on us. I left here with the energy I need before holiday shopping!
