I would not recommend this store! We went in the end of Sept ’11 and found some furniture to purchase. We put a down payment on it, thankfully didn’t pay in full! We were told we would have it by the first week of Oct. I was happy because I would have it for the holidays! The first week of Oct. the salesman called and stated that it had a delayed shippment and would not be in until the first week of Nov. and we needed to come in and pay in full! Yeah sure I’m gonna run in and do that! I called the manager and asked if this was required, because when we put 10% down in Sept. the salesman didn’t say anything at that point. The manager told me that if my furniture comes in and someone pays in full they will sell it to them! I then told the manager that we will come in and get our down payment and go to Star or Lazyboy. He then informed me that he would make sure he would call me when my furniture came in and would be sure that I would get it by the first of Nov. I never did get the call. So we went in and got our refund to shop at a furniture store that will appreciated our business. I guess the Roomstore is making so much money that they don’t need ours, Or anybody that I come in contact with! Very Very bad management , horrible customer service. Too many furniture stores in the Houston area that will be happy to help us!

Great lamps and mirrors. Sometimes tables and furniture. You have to be picky. They do have layaway.
