Their pizza is good, I like that you can order a slice of whatever you like and mix and match if you want. Always clean, always friendly. The ices are so yummy. The texture is amazing and they aren’t too sweet, and super light.

We love this place. Everyone can get what they want/no fighting over toppings. Love love that they deliver. Pizza is New York style. I love the pepperoni and I am super picky about pizza crust.. You son is obsessed with the Buffalo chicken. The restaurant is very clean.

The service is okay, but not great. I don’t think the pizza taste good at all and they give it to you on a flimsy paper plate. The only thing I really like is their ice cream. It’s pretty good.

I’ve dined in, carried out and had their food delivered. Their style of pizza is best by the slice. It doesn’t translate well into a 10 inch size so avoid that and buy the bigger one if you must have an entire Or do yourself a real favor and just order a bunch of different slices for delivery. Throw ‘em into the oven like they do when you dine in to warm ‘em up and get that underside of the crust a little crispy and you’ll enjoy it even more! Never used the eat24 app. Just called ‘em up, old skool style and I have had zero issues with deliveries. I love their White Pizza!!! The ricotta is seasoned deliciously. The meat lovers is good as well. I wished they had an eggplant parmesan.

I had actually had the Grandma pizza from Slices & Ices and didn’t realize it because I had it at a Christmas party. I came here with a friend for dinner last weekend when it dawned on me. This place was hoppin for a Sunday night. There was a birthday party going and there was just a lot of people there for dinner. Luckily we were able to grab one of the last tables. I wasn’t quite sure how it worked, but the staff is friendly and helpful. There are so many options(with the pizzas, as well as pasta, salad, etc). It’s a bit overwhelming. My friend and I ordered a small Grandma and a small spinach salad.(Sidebar: the small pizza came in a circle, not a square which was a little disappointing because square pizza is fun and the middle piece is the best one)! The spinach salad was so good and so fresh! I can’t remember all the ingredients, but it had spinach, feta, onions, and balsamic vinaigrette(which was on the side). I went to town on the salad! I would have been fine just eating salad… that’s how good it was. It was funny because we overheard the employee ask«does anyone know how to make the spinach salad?» so we weren’t sure what to expect, but it was great! The Grandma pizza was so good too! I added a little bit of garlic to it(they had garlic and crushed red pepper at the table; I don’t recall seeing any Parmesan cheese). It was enough food for the two of us and it was very filling. When we were done, the employee who took our order asked how everything was. I appreciate the great customer service. The only thing I would say is maybe invest in better plates. The paper plates they use are so flimsy and the grease soaks through. I don’t mind the paper and plastic ware, but better paper plates would be a plus. We didn’t try any of the Italian Ice, but maybe we will next time. The calzones looked really good, and I would like to try some of their pasta. I’m looking at the menu online and apparently this place is BYOB. Good to know!

Love this place! Always order my pizza from here and I’m never disappointed. Completely beats ordering generic pizza.

We ordered food from Slices & Ices through the Unilocal Eat 24 app. Ordering was very easy and the food was ok but we didn’t get any of the extras(plates, plastic ware, toppings) that we requested. We were staying at the Super 8 hotel in Clear Lake and decided it was easiest to eat in. I decided to try the Eat 24 app to order some food. Slices & Ices was first on the list and had no delivery fee. There is a $ 20 minimum order. Based on other reviews, we ordered a 10″ buffalo chicken pizza, a Greek salad and a sour cherry Italian ice. We forgot to order drinks so I called the restaurant and they were happy to modify the order. The food was delivered to our hotel room about 10 minutes faster than promised so they get an A for service. The food was just ok. The pizza had a nice buffalo chicken flavor but was very mild and not spicy. The blue cheese sauce was also pretty mild. The crust was not particularly special but was ok. The Greek salad was huge with a good mix of romaine, feta, some olives, cucumbers and pepperoncini peppers. The dressing was pretty good. We didn’t get any plates, utensils or toppings(Parmesan, peppers), which we had requested. The lack of utensils and plates especially made it kind of hard to eat our food. Of course, we managed. Overall, ordering was convenient, delivery was fast, food was decent and price was fine. All in all, we where happy with Slices & Ices.

The only positive thing that I can say about my experience with this place is that I got my meal for free due to the stupidity of their delivery driver. To cut to the chase: The food was pretty awful. We ordered through the Eat24 app and chose the«Cash» option. We’ve done this with other businesses, and we pay with cash when we get our food. However this time when I tried to pay the delivery guy for the meal and give him a tip, he smirked and told me that I had already paid online. I’m an honest person, so I told the guy that I didn’t pay online and again tried to hand him the money. He just laughed at me and joked, «Well I’ll take your money if you wanna give it to me, but your food is paid for». I gave up trying to convince the driver and offered to at least give him a tip. He refused the tip as well, saying that I had included a tip when I paid online. I stared at him in disbelief as I closed the door without a word. My girlfriend and I looked at each other and burst out laughing so hard that tears were running down our faces… However, the laughter was cut short and the driver forgotten once we opened our food. I had the Chicken Marsala. It was slimy and flavorless. We also ordered some Calamari which was edible, but still soggy and chewy. Considering that the food was horrible, I don’t feel too bad about not paying.

I had five different slices of pizza and they were mediocre at best. It is a convenient place to stop by for food on the go, but if you’re a foodie you’ll probably be disappointed. The white, supreme, meat lovers, and cheese slices were meh. The pulled pork was slightly better, but too sweet.

The pizza here is really good. Had the grandma’s based on staff recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Cool simplistic atmosphere. Wish they served beer in here. Would be great with the pizza. The reason I felt compelled to review is the really great staff here. Sense of pride is evident. Loved the explanation of the concept. Nice job guys.

Came in for an early lunch on a Saturday and left quite satisfied with our decision. Slices & Ices is tucked into a small strip along Bay Area Blvd. The place is roomy though, and exceptionally clean. The employees are courteous and efficient — couldn’t ask for more. The pizza is quintessential NY style … well the cheese and pepperoni, anyway. Wonderfully thin crust and quality cheese. Foldable. A good combination of crisp/soft. Daughter really liked her Buffalo Chicken and Mac & Cheese.(I’m too old school to order that.) We ordered some calamari for grins. It was ok, but way too much breading. A couple of wants: I wish they offered eggplant as a pizza topper; and I wish they’d switch to Coca Cola products at the fountain. Still, we’ll be back. And I’ll tell anyone who’s jonesing for a slice to stop by Slices & Ices.

What’s there to say that 149 other people haven’t said already? Awesome for an on-the-go meal, and awesome for people that don’t need to have an leftover entire pizza calling them from the fridge late at night. 16 NY-style pie«flavors» for you to choose from. Not an easy task. Grandma’s pizza almost seems to be the requisite for first-timers here. Basil and tomato on a flat, crispy crust that makes an airy bite. I could probably eat an entire pizza of this by myself. Had the vegetable pizza since I figured I’d try to get some nutrition in while eating pizza, which is probably a dumb idea unless you like every traditional vegetable topping under the sun on one pie… which I don’t. My two slices ended up being $ 7 or $ 8. Ran by a guy who is passionate about his product and appreciative of your business, this is a great little local business to support in the Webster/Clear Lake area.

So, here’s the breakdown. I work in the Clear Lake medical center area and I pass this place almost daily. Before it became Slices & Ices it was one of my favorite lunch hour burger joints, Mooyah Burger, but it closed down for whatever reason. I was super upset, distraught, and«in my feelings»(insert boo-hoo crying here) because I couldn’t get my juicy fresh burger anymore that I NEVER wanted to try out this pizza place. ***let me get my bearings together for a moment*** Ok, I’m back. I was in the mood for pizza one day and didn’t feel like waiting on anything to be delivered to my job so my co-worker suggested I try this place out. OMG, upon walking in I was swept away at how clean this place was. No dirty tables, clean floors, and no bad smell. Even better than the clean enviorment, the employees were SUPER friendly. They asked if it was my first time, I told them yes, and they gave me a run down on the place and the pizza. The pizza… One word, PHENOMENAL! They sell by the slice and have a great variety to choose from. It’s packed with tons of flavor, served hot, and has a soft yet thin and crispy crust. Not that thick doughy crust that’s packed with a ton of carbs that will swell you up to looking 5 months pregnant. Also, it’s sold at a great price point. I know for sure I’ll definitely be back as I’m sure my daughters will love this place just as much as I do. Good job Slices & Ices!

Went here today for lunch. I ordered the meat calzone and my friend ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza. I’m not really sure what meat was in this calzone… It was like steak and pepperoni or something. It would be better with just pepperoni. It has a ton of ricotta cheese, and a little mozzarella. It is very messy and I don’t recommend eating it while trying to converse with a friend! A napkin was at my mouth the whole time. My friend loved hers! I will definitely be going back to try the pizza and ice! My mistake for not buying the food it is named after.

A little slice of NY style pizza. I had the cheese which I enjoyed and I tried the chicken parmigiana. The second was decent but now that I had it I would probably not have hat again. It was not bad it just not the best option from all the kinds they had. Looking forward to tasting more. Easy eat when you your waiting on the car to be done at the car spa. I will say the manager/owner was very nice and took extra care if a family with lots of kids. Nice place very comfortable.

I have friends from NY and been there myself. Its really good pizza like the kind in NY(healthier made) and ice treats(kind of like ice cream with out the cream Ive had it other places when traveling).Nice staff, clean, nice prices by the slice or whole pizza. I did slice of grandmas(about 3.00) and small cesar salad only about 2 – 3.00(which dressing comes on side which is very nice so I can add my own amount). I’ll be back it was really awesome!

We went to Slices and Ices on a Saturday and it was clean, the staff was friendly the pizza was very good. My daughter had the cheese pizza and I had a slice of Grandmas. One or two slices are enough to feed most people and the prices are very reasonable. Of the pizza places in the Clear Lake area this one hits the sweet spot of being fast, delicious and having a wide variety. We also tried the ices which were a nice complement to the meal.

Damn, Gina. This is some mighty good pizza. I placed an order for delivery — using the Unilocal app — and it was delivered within 25 minutes to an area hospital where a relative was staying. I met the driver downstairs, though he kindly offered to bring it up to the room. There’s a $ 20 minimum order for delivery, and it can easily be met with a pizza and a side. The slices are huge — New York-style — and one slice might just be enough. My gma and I ended up sharing the giant pizza with the nurses and they loved it! I didn’t get too crazy with our order, as Slices & Ices has an assortment of unique pizzas like mac ‘n’ cheese and grilled caesar salad; next time I’m in the area I’ll be more adventurous. And it’s BYOB!

Yeah, this place has good pizza. Pizza where you can taste the flavor and authentically in it. You can tell that, if you bite into a slice a pizza here, you definitely know it’s not your typical Pizza Hut or so. This pizza especially, Grandma slice was decent to taste – I really loved tasting the fresh basil in it(as I’ve grown it in my garden at home). These guys had a lot pizzas to choose from – good for me since I don’t eat pork nor do I like cheese pizzas. The Honey BBQ chicken pizza was good, but the chicken chunks were a bit difficult to chew. I’m not sure if this place would be considered just a snack pizza shop since they mainly sell slices – but this place can get expensive really quick. The only slice that is the cheapest is cheese slice which is $ 1.99. A pizza pie of speciality pizzas are about $ 24. Whoa, $ 23.99 for a pie of pizza. I get that this pizza is handmade and good, but that doesn’t mean it should cost this much for quality because quantity wasn’t there. If you are really hungry and just to make a meal say you order 2 slices of pizza(make that the grandma), throw in a drink, and some ices. Your budget is nearly broken. Ok, that being said good food shouldn’t have to cost this much. I probably wouldn’t come back just because of that – I mean, the pizza is good, but it isn’t the best.
