Ugh I feel majorly overwhelmed when I come here, like shit is just scattered everywhere. Put the hair products in one place, not scattered in different areas. I don’t generally shop at this store, namely because I like to remain unseen, like the Phantom of the Opera, and just shop online, but also because my past experiences have been that the employees here are RUDE as hell. I will say on my trip today they were way more friendly and helpful. If I can just learn the lay of the land better… Then I can bump them up a star, as they do have a wide variety of products.

This is not my favorite Ulta. I like the store set up, but I’m not fond of the customer service. They are not too helpful when you are looking for something. They will tell you to try a certain isle and point you in the direction. When it is time to pay, they are not all that friendly. They’ve also been out of something I need on a couple of visits. I will continue to patronize this store as it is closest to me, but I’ve been to better locations.

This is somewhere you go because you have to get something, not really somewhere to browse. And honestly half the time they don’t have what you came to get in the first place. The shelves are bare– like I mean bare. Maybe one loreal lipstick in the display, all the brushes scattered around, the eyeliners used as testers. My mom and I went in to look at tarte foundation. We walked over to that section and some normal dude was standing there. He asked us what we were looking for and showed us there it was. My mom and I asked for a sample but ulta does NOT offer samples. I said well what are we supposed to do, just buy it and return it if we don’t like how it wears? He said yes. The man had a flat expression the entire time we were there and appeared to hate his life. After we asked him that he immediately walked us over to something he ‘thought we might like’. It was the IT cosmetics line. He started a clearly rehearsed speech about how it’s parabin free, SPF blah blah blah. None of which were a concern to us. He was trying to sell my mom a bb cream when she had said she wanted a full coverage foundation. I said ‘so is this y’all’s line?’ It was clear he had been trained to push this product no matter what a customer was looking for. He said yes it was available at ulta only. We left to go get samples at sephora and I suggest you do the same.

Long story short, I had professional pictures to get done later that afternoon 7÷24÷2015, booked my appointments for full makeup and blowout that morning. My appointment ended around 1:30pm(indoor photos scheduled around 3:00pm) and when I called back to let the manager know(regrettably didn’t catch her name) that my curls didn’t even last an hour in order for me to get my photos taken, she acted like she could care less. I didn’t even request a discount on a future service or even a refund for the service i was unhappy with that day. She basically said«sorry for the misunderstanding and that was that. Very unprofessional. I will not be going back to get any Salon services done there ever again(not even due to the stylist, it was due to the Manager poor customer service attitude). I will continue to go to the Brow Bar as i always receive superior service there.

Great store! It’s a woman’s dream come true. You can get mass brands and prestige all in one place. lots of fun!

There’s always a line here and because of that I never felt comfortable enough to take the time and sign up for rewards card. I finally did it one day because there was only one person in line behind me. Usually there’s 4⁄5 people in line at any time during any day. I have also needed assistance one or two times and waited over 15 minutes for help only to wait another 15 minutes in line. Note to self: don’t stop at ulta for a quick bday gift before a bday party. However, you can always find a good deal here so that… along with the quality of make up and products is why I continue to shop here.

Breasts bubbling over as if in a corset and rude rude staff… major disappointment. I was SHOCKED to see the ample yound gal at the cashier counter with her boobs… not displayed with classy cleavage rather LITERALLY heaved up into the air… Beyond unprofessional and grotesque. Face, neck, and bulging boobs. I cannot imagine any manager would condone such a display. Let me tell you I adore Ulta. Ive shopped there for years and have turned people on to it. This is the first location from all my travels where staff fought with me about an exchange. Unopened, no damage, brand new merchandise. Normally the store would say, sure… no problem. The staff here battled me about it. Finally I said I’d be happy to go to another location because I’d never experienced such opposition. Beyond the exchange, there wasn’t enough staff to direct and help. Id NOT go here again. Inappropriate attire and not so helpful staff.

I like this location because of the proximity to home. I’ll admit, it isn’t my favorite Ulta but it has the essentials. The staff is always friendly and eager to help. Just yesterday I went in to buy BB Cream and they didn’t have a tester for the color I was looking for and the lady that was helping me let me open one to test it out. I really appreciated since most places frown upon you opening packages(for the record, she slapped a «tester» sticker on it). The store is kept clean and I can easily get lost looking at makeup and hair products for hours *sigh*. I wish they had a little more variety in terms of the urban decay line at this location, but again it does have the essentials.

Let me first state that I never say«yes» when the women ask me if I need help. Nope, don’t need help picking out new makeup and I sure as heck don’t need to be followed around being treated like a criminal. So my review is mainly for the price of the makeup I bought. I don’t need Sephora, Mac or any of that high end stuff. I stuck with Loreal and Neutrogena and was thrilled when I found out that it was time to buy all new stuff. I headed to this Ulta near Baybrook Mall and was ecstatic when I saw that it was«buy one, get one 50% off». I got new foundation, powder, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick for roughly 40 $ and that included some new foundation pads and eyeshadow applicators. The store was clean and they had a nice selection of pretty much everything. I always love the great deals they have on the lower-end makeup! The sales associate wasn’t too friendly, but what the heck did I care? She checked me out in less than 2 – 3 minutes and I never have to deal with her again. Point is, I’ll be back when they have more sales and when I’m in the area!

Substance wise — this is the best ulta I’ve been to. And that’s saying a lot! They have everything, when you walk in youre kind of blown away by it all. Or was that just me?

While Ulta may not be the Ulta-mate beauty supply store, they carry all the products you’ll need to get all dolled up. I love the eyeshadows at Ulta. They are about the same quality as the Sephora brand and they cost a lot less. Since I usually buy 3 or 4 colors at a time it’s not such a huge hit to my wallet to hit up Ulta for makeup. I also love that they have a huge makeup set for about $ 25 every year at Christmas. It makes a great gift for any girly girl who loves makeup and experimenting with colors. In addition to the Ulta brand products, they also carry a lot of what Sephora carries AND a lot of what you can find at Target. Meaning I can pick up my Opi nail polish, L’Oreal mascara, and Smashbox primer all in one place. I still love Sephora but sometimes I hate going to the mall so I skip it and go to Ulta.

This is the worst store I have ever been to. The staff is rude, unknowledgable, impatient, and no customer service at all. The cosmetics dept was dirty & filthy, I couldnt find anything, the testers were disgusting, I wouldnt use them on my dog! Never, not once was I asked if I needed anything. The worst experience I have had at this type of store. I think from here on out, I will stick with Sephora.
