I have rented spaces in a number of facilities in a number of different areas. My experience at Uncle Bob’s was the best of the best. Everything about this place is first rate; customer service, cleanliness, security, etc. Yes, it takes a few minutes longer than you might expect to fill out all the paperwork, but as you go through the process it is all well explained and makes good sense.
Please know ahead of time that you are required to carry insurance on your unit’s contents. If you can’t provide proof of insurance you will have to purchase it (cheaply) through the rental agreement.

This place seems almost camouflaged. The main office building in front looks like just another house on the street. You never know there’s a whole bunch of storage units behind it.
This location is run by a nice couple from the South; very helpful, very friendly. It all seems very clean and well taken care of.
Getting my account set up /established took more time than I’d expected. But that may just be par for the course.
The storage facilities are behind a key access gate. Everyone gets his own code, and everything is videoed (So they know who’s coming and going). — good security.
All in all, a really good deal — especially with the free truck usage when you open your storage unit.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE IT’S THE PLAGUE
I attempted to rent a parking spot for my vehicle, but the store manager filled out all the registration paperwork for the incorrect brand of vehicle. Since I was dropping off my car, I had a taxi scheduled to pick me up. The cabbie began his meter at the scheduled pick-up time, but the manager wasted another 25 minutes sorting everything out. The end result: I paid $ 52 for 4 days of storage, $ 13 for a lock, and $ 55 in cab fare.
While this sort of delay happens, the manager’s lack of haste or care, especially with a cab running outside, was profoundly unprofessional. Save your time and money; go somewhere else for a storage space.
