So I was visiting in the area and brought my bike with me but forgot a pump. Well when I went to the store they wouldn’t even let me borrow a pump to air it up. I had to buy one. I already had a pump and didn’t want to buy another one. I am by no means entitled to them giving a free service(if you can call letting someone borrow a pump a service). The funny thing was, I was considering buying a bike from these guys but not anymore. Sun and Ski Sports on Bay Area gladly helped me out. I will definitely go back there but not this place. Apparently this place is known to be like this so it wasn’t a surprise when I told the guys at Sun and Ski what happened. There’s so many places to get cycling equipment, do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

putting on a new stem they left a plastic ring off of my headset. rather than disassemble the steering assembly again, they cut the plastic ring with a razor blade and stuck it loosely in place, thinking i wouldn’t notice. i noticed. the part is falling off. now dust and water are going to get into areas that are supposed to be sealed and i’m going to have to get a whole new headset. thank you for charging me $ 175 to ruin my bike. i feel sorry for you if this is your local bike shop. should have ordered the parts off of the internet and installed it myself. lesson learned.

These guys have no idea what customer service is. I went in to have the back wheel and brakes aligned and they told me they would not work on it because it was a department store bike. That is was a piece of junk and they would not even look at it. When I asked to speak to the manager he just stood there with his arms crossed and said we don’t work on those bikes because they break too much. They did direct me to Bay Area Cycling that was just around the corner. When I walked in, there were 2 young guys working. They greeted me with a big smile and asked if they could help me. I asked if they could work on a department store bike and they said that they work on all bikes. Within 20 minutes I was walking out the door with a fixed bike. These guys were a lot younger, but they understand business a lot better than the arrogant sales people at Webster Bicycle.

Russ and his team catered to all of our needs in buying a bicycle. We were beginners and they took the time to educate us on everything we needed to know. We visited almost every bike shop in Houston and Clear Lake and kept coming back to Webster Bicycle. We will definitely continue to come here for all of our biking needs!

I took my bicycle to have new tires and break pads replaced. I was told that it needed a tune up, a new spring and all of it would cost me $ 300. For that price you can buy one of ours, want me to scrap your bike. The owner basically stood there and from my opinion he didn’t want to work on my bike and that he only works on hi end racing bikes not your ever day bike. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to spend your savings account and be treated like a peasant. I took my bike to another place and they changed me $ 60.(50 for 2 tired and 10 for 2 set of break pads).

I went in to see about fixing my bicycle. I was informed that they do not work on department store bicycles because they are inferior products. We must have paid $ 600 for the bike, so to be told that it is inferior is ridiculous. I would not shop in here again in the future. I guess that explains why the parking lot was empty.

I shopped around to find a good bike that would fit me. I went to several places but this one stood out to me because of their selection and the helpfulness of the owner. I’m pretty short, so finding me an adult bike that fit me and still had a more sporty look wasn’t easy. However, they managed to find the right bike for me and for what my fitness goals are at this time. They also showed me a good starter road bike for when I’m ready to start attempting races. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience here!

I decided to add biking to my ever growing list of sports that I can hurt myself at. To that end, I wanted to purchase a new rode bike. Stopped in Webster Bicycle on a Saturday morning just after they had opened. They staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Fairly large selection of rode, mountain, and kid bikes. I ended up purchasing two bikes — one of me and one for my girlfriend. Both were Cannondales. There were plenty of bikes to chose from. If not, they were happy to order whatever it was this I might want. They had a good selection of accessories as well. They were not pushy about them either. I wanted a computer to monitor my rides. They suggested I start with the very basic model — see if I found it useful. Then look to upgrade. Plenty of other places would have jumped on the chance to upsell me to a fancy unit. In total, I found the experience very pleasant and I will look to purchase my next bike from Webster as well. N*Joy

This place has been around for many years now. I myself have done business with them for over twenty. They have a very knowledgable owner and the staff is helpful and very knowledge also. They stand behind the bicycles they sell & are always ready to help you with any additional items you may need to make your biking experience more enjoyable. If your a local, they are well worth the visit!

I am shocked by the reviews. I have been dealing with them for years and I have only had the best service. We bought two Diamondback Hybrids in 1991 from Webster Bicycle. I have taken them back for tune-ups every couple of years. I have about 15000 miles on that bike and it still rides like new. High quality bikes. After going through four different cheap kids bikes from Academy and Walmart; I bought 2 Raleigh Bikes for my kids at Webster Bicycle. My son rides his on streets, mud and rocks and it is a tank of a bike. I have had them service my Cannondale Road Bike that I didnt even buy from them and they have treated me super. If you want high quality bicycles and knowledgeable service then Webster Bicycle is the place to go.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Just getting in to biking and I will ensure this place won’t get another penny from me. I felt like I was inconveniencing as soon as I walked through the doors. Normally I am not one to complain I just stop doing business. I just couldn’t take it!

I went in to purchase a rim for my mountain bike. I figured I’d be in and out. I saw three employees, one in the back working on someone’s bike, one helping a customer install a bike rack on her vehicle, and another helping a college kid find a new bike. I’m a patient guy so I waited and kind of just browsed the store while someone became available. I walked around the store with my old rim in hand, and not one employee even offered a greeting or a «we’ll be with you in a min» gesture. I walked around the store for 15 minutes without recognition and finally got frustrated and walked out. I may give the place another try, but my first impression was not a good one.
