I’m not a fan of contemporary country music at all… however this station played the right song at the right time.
See, I was rollin’ down the desolate road to nowhere known as I-​395. I had just steered clear of a few tumbleweeds when I decided to turn off my ipod and turn on the AM radio. I tuned around until something caught my ear’s attention. Specifically It was a song by Hank Williams, Jr and I want to thank Cool Country 940 for playing it at the very moment I decided to tune by their frequency.
The station is fully local and NOT RUN BY A CONSOLIDATED RADIO CORPORATION. If you’re in northeastern CT, northwestern RI or central-​south MA and like country music please tune in. And even if you hate country music, they may be playing a song that you end up liking…
I just wish their website had an audio stream :(
