This place is fantastic! The owners are such loving, caring, and attentive people. Very family oriented. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great environment, wonderful talent, you’re missing out if you haven’t been here!

Went in for a cut and blow dry with Jenn M. My hair is naturally curly/frizzy. She used an Aveda product that tamed my hair and when she did the blow dry, the result was amazing. Later that day, I had an appointment for a manicure at another salon, and my friend and I were talking about how great my hair was. My friend and I couldn’t stop running our hands through my long silky straight hair. The stylists at this salon were kind of jealous and wanted to know where I had it done, etc. They said that no one ever raved like that about them! I will go back because this is the best hair cut I have ever had. This is for real. I referred my best friend and she loved her hair(sadly my friend lives out of state) but she also said that it is the best hair cut and color she has ever had.

I have been going to Inspire Salon since we moved here a little over a year ago. I see Jamie and she is GREAT! The salon is very clean and comfortable. They offer complimentary drinks and scalp/shoulder massages with a haircut. Everyone there is so polite and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Hubby surprised me with an appointment for a haircut, so I ventured in my first time sight unseen having never been here before. Staff was friendly, helpful, and offered me a beverage upon arrival. The facility is clean, bright, and all the stylists were upbeat and chatty with their clients as well. I was not disappointed. I met with Kasey, told her my hair woes, and crossed my fingers. Kasey was extremely thorough, walked me through every step of the haircut and asked for my feedback the entire time. I couldn’t be more pleased with the final results. Oh, and yes. I’ll definitely return! Thanks so much.

I’ve been here several times. And, yeah, Jamie is great. Right up until I went to book an appointment. I was offered a weekend a month out on a weekend I work. When I said that didn’t work, the person on the phone didn’t offer a single alternative. Just that was all he had. I guess I expect a little more effort from the person who answers the phone and books the appointments. If you have to go through this guy to get to Jamie, it’s not worth the effort! I was going to write a glowing review of Jamie but really? There has to be someone out there who is a little more helpful. Jamie recently got a promotion that entitles her to charge more and probably make more for the salon. Couldn’t they treat clients as if they valued them? If you’re going to pay prime prices, you expect better service. It doesn’t do any good to offer a soda and a hand massage if you can’t even get in to see the stylist you want. Beware of going to this salon. Beware the chit chat and the hand massage and the soda. You just might find yourself in this position — out in the cold looking for a stylist again! UPDATED I read Chris’ response. I respect what he said, but I was not offered a «wait list» and I was not offered a single other time, except a time that I was physically unable to be there, unless I called in sick to work. I was the one asking if this would work or if that would work. The scheduler literally had nothing to offer. It was as if he didn’t care. What is ironic is that I asked him to ask Jamie if there was something she could do and he refused. Then a couple of days later, he called and said Jamie could do this or that to accommodate, which just speaks to my point that he COULD have done something, he just chose not to.

Jamie is absolutely awesome! She has done my hair a few times, cut and color and she never disappoints! They are not that pricey at all! I thought she was very reasonably priced! She is always book a few weeks in advance because she’s that awesome! Call ahead and set up an appt with her! You won’t regret it!

I see Jamie and think she is absolutely fantastic; she is very easy to chit chat with & has great attention to detail with whatever she is doing. If I could do 4 ½ stars I would, and my only problem is that the cost of a basic hair cut is a little higher than what I would like; however, I choose to go here over a $ 15 place because of several reasons. The salon just had a recent remodel and looks fantastic… it’s very comfortable and clean. They offer you something to drink, they do a shoulder/scalp after washing your hair, and they use Aveda hair products.

I have been going to Inspire Salon for over 6 years now — and LOVE it for so many reasons: 1. The staff are incredibly nice and professional. 2. They pay attention to the little things. On my first visit, I had just gotten an awesome haircut and it started pouring down rain. I pretty much chalked it up to a loss, but before getting to the door — Chris(at the front desk) grabbed an umbrella and walked me out to my car. I’m always offered a drink and/or snack while I’m waiting, and the complimentary neck and shoulder massage is a fabulous treat. 3. Sandi is a hair GENIUS. She is a great listener, and is able to take into account what you ask for, and how that will work with your hair type. She always takes the time to make sure the cut is perfect — without making you sit there forever. She has never steered me wrong. I used to live in St. Charles, and moved to St. Louis City and still take the hike out to Inspire. I have referred at least 10 people to the salon, and I always end up hearing what a great experience they’ve had. HIGHLY recommended!

OK, I’m really on the fence about this salon. I’ve been once, for highlights and a cut. It ended up being about $ 85 for this(including shampoo and style, not including tip), which to me, is a little pricey. But I guess it’s about standard in STL. CONS: I didn’t want much of my hair cut, just a little trim-up. The girl who did my hair cut it shorter than I wanted. I was really worried about that, because I was getting married in 3 weeks and needed my hair to not be too short. The biggest con was discovered when I got home. The back of my shirt had giant bleach spots all over it. I mean everywhere! And the stylist even put two aprons over me… apparently, it didn’t work. PROS: I called the salon as soon as I discovered the bleach spots, and they were really apologetic and really helpful. They asked how much the shirt was and said they’d reimburse me. They promptly sent me a check for the price of the shirt, and also a $ 20 gift card. The haircut I received was pretty cute, even though I didn’t want it that way. My color was absolutely gorgeous. The fact that my highlights looked so good is the cause for the third star. I will probably go back, especially since I have a gift card now. But I’ll definitely wear an old shirt, even if I don’t get a color.
