Days Inn Weldon Roanoke Rapids

Two stories, multiple buildings, exterior entrances.
Several things I observed during my one night stay: Front lobby (exterior and interior) made a nice impression. Front desk clerks at both check in and check out were polite and efficient. HDtv, ac, free wifi all worked well, room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Also worth noting is the price — at least $ 10/​night less than the places on the other side of the interstate.
The less than impressive things I noticed: Parking lot at the lobby/​building 1 is very small and tight. When exiting (located behind building 1) requires you to go across a graveled area to get to the road. Public areas in front of the rooms appeared to need cleaning — nothing wrong that a little cleaning couldn’t fix.
The other thing that I seemed to notice was the clientele seemed to be laborers or (trying to be polite) folks that maybe were there for «in room recreational activities». If you are in the area with a family or having business training/​meetings I am not sure this place would be your best option.

Friendly staff. Continental breakfast from 630−930am. Cheap deals. Also right off rt. 95, so beneficial for travelers. Free wifi. Has more of a motel feel because there are either 3 – 4 units which are all separated from the office. All doors are on the outside of the building. The rooms are decent. You get what you pay for. It’s a nice room. But 3 out of 5. Also, free wifi, pet friendly, and right near a bunch of restaurants.

It’s affordable and has breakfast from 6am-​10am. I recommend booking online for good deals. The accommodations are decent but reminds me more of a motel. But has friendly staff and clean hotel rooms.
They have 1 coin operated washer and dryer. Or you could get housekeeping to wash laundry for you, at an overpriced $ 10 a load.
