I’ve been going to Pine Straw since its grand opening in Wellesley. Tracy Cranshaw, the owner, is not only pleasant and kind, she listens and asks questions to see what her customers like and want to see in the store. I buy nearly all of my house warming and hostess gifts there, along with gifts for friends and family(and yes, sometimes for myself!). With a wide selection of housewares, jewelry, and clothing offerings, I never get bored with the selection, as new items are always added. I also appreciate that Pine Straw is a HUGE supporter of the community and the charities that we support. Pine Straw offers several«shopping nights» each year, where a portion of all sales are donated to the cause. With such a wide spread in price ranges, there’s always something for everyone. Keep up the great work, Pine Straw!

Beautiful store with lovely things but expect to pay anywhere up to almost 150% of full retail on most items. I was charged $ 72 for a candle the manufacturer listed on its website for $ 50 at full retail. When I called Pine Straw to see if this were some mistake about this and the other items I bought, I was told no – they charge more than full retail because they are a small store, and if I didn’t like the prices, I could bring my items back, which I did. I won’t be back. Prices here reflect a weird cynicism on behalf of the owners towards people who live and shop in Wellesley. I feel like they assume we are either careless with our money, or stupid.

I could have spent my next 3 paychecks at Pine Straw. The place is huge, with everything from clothing to bags to home décor to jewelry to stationary to unique gifts. Dangerous spot for sure, but certainly a go-to when needing something special or a gift!

Cute store with a lot of custom gifts that you won’t really find elsewhere. I actually stopped in yesterday for the first time and am happy I did, I’ll definitely be back :) I bought a couple cute bracelets, not sure who makes them! And I also bough a cute makeup bag by apple&bee because I really like their concept of sustainability! Awesome company, I’m glad you carry their brand!

i LOVELOVELOVE this charming little store, I can’t get enough of it. I’m SO glad they’re here. They have really unique home accessories from small furniture items, and hand-crafted candles in vintage tobacco or coffee tins, to gorgeously simple Rae Dunn ceramics, and an eclectic selection of really wonderful gifts. They also have a small collection of women’s fashions like Michael Stars and Johnny Was, and beautiful artisan-made jewelry. Watch out though, even though I always go in «just to browse» I’ve never walked out without something, even if it’s just a funny napkin.
