Wellesley Toy Shop

Interesting toy shop in Wellesley.
They are moving next door, where the current gift shop is in January.
Very small currently, but will be bigger after the move next door.
For the current size, they carry a TON of toys including lots of LEGO, and LEGO-​like play sets, arts&crafts, small gifts, as well as a small baby section and small sporting goods section. Not as large, and doesn’t carry as much as Magic Beans, but will expand for next year.
Staff members were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about lots of products throughout their store. The prices were not sky high and they had lots of unique and different items. I would say this is a good place to stop and look for kids gifts, especially if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary.
Located on Central Street, in Wellesley Center. 4 stars.

Fantastic toy and gift shop with very friendly service. I’m always able to find something
for everyone on my list – babies to older relatives. It’s also a family owned business and the hard work they put into running it shows.

We just moved from the city to Wellesley with our toddlers. (Yes we are slowly loosing our cool but will resist becoming stepfords) I couldn’t have asked for a better neighborhood toy store. They have a loyalty program where you get discounts and have a better selection of toys than even magic beans because I think the owner actually goes through the process of selecting what toddlers want to play with instead of what a toy manufacturer pays a retailer to display. The prices on the Thomas and legos are sometimes even cheaper than amazon or toysrus — a bonus because i equate a trip to toysrus as a trip to a cement factory. Plus after a trip to the toy store it’s a few doors down to the ice cream store so my son and I make an afternoon of it !
