Open Porch

I was happy to see another coffee place open in this area. The only coffee places around here are either Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks and honestly I’m kind of getting bored with these two. I don’t know how well this location will do because it’s located in a space in the mall where no one rarely goes. It’s located in a corner right by JCPenny’s. I hope they do well, because the choices of coffee and teas were really good. They even offer these hot little mini donuts. This place has a lot of potential. However, I would recommend getting staff to explain the different choices for newcomers.

Those donuts are good but the chicken salad sliders are fantastic!!! I am not a tea person but their coffee is fresh and quickly made to order. Plus they have homemade lemonade. I just tasted the brand new mini quiches and they are outta this world plus they now have bagels and cream cheese … So yummy

Needed to go over some 2016 updates with a coworker that lives in the West Palm area, so she suggested we meet at Open Porch. I love tea, so I was super into the idea.
I was pretty shocked walking in that the location looked so cozy! I felt like I was in a warm log cabin. I was immediately greeted with a «Welcome home,» which I thought was a very nice touch. I asked the cashier about the different teas they offered. He told me all about them and then let me bag my own tea! That was too cool.
I tried their «Craft» tea which is medium strength, and then their «Dark Forged» tea which is the strongest. I ended up picking the unsweetened Dark Forged. I also saw that you could add fresh fruit to your tea. I had to add mango! Gosh it was so good! I’m not a big fan of super sweet tea, so the natural sweetness of the mango was perfect for me.
Now I’m kind of on a diet so I wasn’t originally going to get any donuts, but then I had to. They told me that they were made to order and that they had cinnamon apple and cinnamon sugar. I got 2 of each. Hey they were small anyway! I’ll just have to go to them gym tonight… Worth it.
Overall it was a great experience. Very relaxing environment. Great food and drink, and very nice staff!
