Publix Super Markets

This Publix continues to disappoint. I have waited quite awhile to write this review in hopes that these were simply isolated, although oddly consecutive instances but nope. First let me start with the positive. I don’t think I have ever seen this store crazy busy, that’s a plus for me. It is still in the older Publix layout which is very comfortable and pleasant. It is conveniently located and easy to get in and out of (the store and the shopping center it’s in). The personnel at the deli, checkout and bagging are always very cordial. Now the negative, the produce and bakery are very lackluster, in supply and personnel. I have seen unacceptable produce still on the shelves (I do believe Publix’s standards are higher than what I have seen) and I always have difficulty finding someone when have a question. The bakery’s selection is average at best (and that’s generous) and they don’t seem to be adequately staffed. I customarily wait 5 – 10 mins before I am even acknowledged and the some of the staff is not very nice. I actually waited 15 mins once for assistance. The only person at the bakery was the manager and he was standing in the back with his back turned doing what looked like some kind of paperwork. I just don’t get it. This store has potential; it’s a nice store.
