Security Self Storage

This place would have 5 stars if the moving out portion had gone a bit better.
I was going through a messy divorce and one day my ex was threatening to throw all my stuff out. I quickly found a moving company and called numerous storage units, none had immediately availability. I called Security Self Storage and they were great, they did everything the could to accommodate me. They found me a great air conditioned unit on the first floor. They checked on me numerous times while I was moving my stuff in because they were aware that I was dealing with a tough situation. As I slowly got my life in order, I was moving stuff out, as soon as I realized I could drop down to a smaller unit, they were able to move me right across the way from my current unit.
The prices were reasonable and the place was always very clean. They have a gate that you must have a code for and to get in the building, your code only works for the floor that your unit is on. They carts were always available and in good shape.
After a year I gave notice that I was finally moving out. I moved out shortly after a new billing cycle and was charged a $ 50/​fee. When I inquired about it, it was because I didn’t give enough notice, which no one had explained to me. I would have rather just kept my stuff in there an extra month and paid my normal monthly rate (which with the smaller unit was only $ 79).
Overall, this was a great storage unit, located in a very accessible area.
