We love this place!!! We moved here almost a year ago and just recently found this place. Very homey and comfortable. Staff is exceptional and so nice. My whole family loved it and the experience there. Going back for special times and sometimes just because. Food is great and everything from breakfast and lunch is delicious. You will enjoy it all around!!!

I love this place! The food is always consistently delicious. I always get the traditional Eggs Benedict, it’s my favorite thing on the menu. The eggs are poached perfectly every time I order it, which I cannot say the same for most other places that serve this dish. The hash brown casserole is so good,(it reminds me of my grandmothers mac and cheese recipe which is made with cream of mushroom soup.) The service is excellent, the people are all so nice there! I like supporting small businesses like this one rather than going to some huge chain restaurant. I am writing this review after more than 3 years of frequenting this establishment.

Great food! Great waitress(Lynne). Nice environment & clean establishment. Took my mom for breakfast after church. We enjoyed how fresh everything was. Thumbs up for egg whites with spinach.

Average ok food. Nothing amazing. Regular meals. Slow service, they take 30−45mins to bring your food out. But as soon as they see you finish your food they will literally empty and clear out your table very quickly, so you’ll feel the need to leave ASAP for the next customers! Not a place to hang and sit around after finishing your food. Went twice for a breakfast and had the exact same experience!

The place is average as are most breakfast places with the basics. However, if you are a pancake lover it definitely is a good amount and yummy! Not my favorite or go to place, but has some decent options. I wouldn’t go out my way for it though. However prices were reasonable

Horrible service the past few times I have been there, with small flying insects coming out with the fruit cup I ordered. I know it’s Florida, but if the fruit of old to the point fruit flies are following it, don’t serve it. I’m giving it two stars because in the past my experiences were decent. However quality has really fallen off.

Great little breakfast joint in Welington. It’s small so you may have to wait for a table but it is worth it. The French toast and pancakes are fantastic and fast service. Everything was clean and waitress was attentive even though the restaurant was full. I will definitely be back and recommend trying it out.

Great late breakfast today at Short Stacks… Spicy Benny’s w/the andouille sausage is the the way to go… service is 5. Offered us crackers for our 14 month old while food was being prepared. Super clean and friendly. Hash brown casserole out of this world. I guessed it right when I saw«Hotty Toddy» on the menu — owner went to Olé Miss. Will be back… soon.

We were in town visiting and looking for a good place to eat. This definitely met out expectations. It was small but very clean, efficient, the staff were great and the food even better. My favorite was their hash casserole.

Very disappointed. My Razzle Dazzle yogurt parfait consisted of a skimpy portion of 5 banana slices, a couple of sliced berries and a not-very-generous helping of yogurt. Very«fast-food-ish.» I left starving. My husband’s omelette was just average, and the hash browns were, as My Cousin Vinny said, «I-dentical» to the ones served at McDonald’s. Exactly the same. Sorry to say, the accompanying pancakes, at a restaurant called«Short Stacks,» were mealy, and flour-y tasting and butter and syrup didn’t seem to help. The coffee was awful, the orange juice was tasty. The hostess is absolutely charming and the service was pretty good. The whole experience was very McDonald’s.

Delicious Breakfast and Lunch. Huge Menu selection at a reasonable price. The staff is wonderful and manager greets us with a huge smile every time we are there. What more could you ask for? Check this place out!

Always love eating here, have breakfast here every chance I get they have a wonderful t-bone steak breakfast I get it every time. I’m sure they have other food but since I’m there so infrequently it’s always going to be the t-bone steak for me. The chef does an amazing job and the wait staff is on point. I found the prices to be a lot lower than I imagined it would be for such a wonderful dining experience.

I came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning with my father. I grew up in Wellington and was pleased to hear that a new breakfast spot opened by the old Publix that I grew up near. The place was small but cute, every table in the restaurant was full! Good thing was, there was no wait for a table. My father order two eggs over light with sausage links. I did not take them but he said it was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the veggie egg white omelet. Honestly, I was not super impressed with my omelette, however I did like the fact that it was loaded with vegetables. Unfortunately, the place smells a little weird, like they need to clean the tables with less dirty rags. I am only giving short stacks 3 stars because I want to come back and see how I feel about perhaps another dish. I hear that the french toast is really good, perhaps I’ll try that!

Love eating here. Irish Benny Eggs Benedict is my favorite. Kids love the waffles. Coffee is not bad either.

First time visit which will also be our last. Was on a busy Sunday mid morning, but got seated right away. My wife ordered a glass of fresh squeezed OJ, wasn’t the best nor the worst, but not what we are use to, I opted for a glass of water which tasted like it was pulled out of a toilet bowl, albeit clean, with a strong chlorine/chemical taste and smell. We waited for a long time, Server never said anything to us about the reason for the delay. Food took 45 minutes to be served, a table next to us sat down 15 minutes after we ordered and got their food prior to ours. I heard another table behind us complaining about the long wait. When asked where our food was, the server said that it was in the window and that it will be next, well 10 minutes later the food shows up. I ordered the Egg Sandwich on a Bagel, specified twice when ordered that I wanted it toasted, but it was not toasted, did not have the patience to ask for it to be remade after waiting so long. It came with a side of home fries, which were small, overcooked and dried out. Portions were small, yet the reviews on here said otherwise. My wife’s experience was no better, small portion, scrambled eggs, very greasy corned beef hash, short stack of pancakes which were not fully cooked, fluffy or that great. Would figure for a place called«Short Stacks» that this would be key item. Also the syrup was fake and tasteless. Server was not friendly nor were we asked how our food was, checked was dropped at the table, picked up and returned with dead silence. Prices are reasonable for some items, but you get what you pay for and other places give you more for your money. Not a place I recommend nor will try again, I have given places 2nd and 3rd chances but not this time.

Eh. We came here twice. The reason we came twice was the other day hubby could not decide between 2 different things. Morning 1: It was Friday July 3rd, so it was a holiday weekend we got here at 10:30am and had about a 20 minute wait. I got the Eggs Benedict and the waitress said they normally came with hash brown casserole and I should try it, which I did. Husband got Corned Beef Benedict, also with casserole. My eggs Benedict were perfect, I got the hollandaise sauce on side as I always do(especially since their menu stated that it was«smothered» in the hollandaise) the word ‘smothered’ scares me. I was not a fan of the casserole. It was a somewhat tasteless cheesy potato mix. If you are a casserole type of person, then you would probably enjoy it. My husbands Corned beef Benedict… kind of disappointing. It tasted and appeared like sliced deli corned beef, then chopped into squares, and some cubed potatoes added to it. We also got a side of the Biscuits and gravy to try them out. I thought it was good for gravy, my husband said tasted like canned. It was very thick. OK so nothing too bad except neither one of us fan of the casserole or the corned beef. Morning 2: We go Sunday at 8am and get right in. I got eggs Benedict again but I got the home fries this time and my husband got the Mexican breakfast wrap and he went with the plain hash browns this time(the hash brown casserole was actually an extra $ 1.00 on a regular menu item) The eggs Benedict were good as last time. The home fries were deep fried, dark brown and burnt(I took a picture but it somehow disappeared) My husbands Mexican wrap he said was extremely boring and the has browns looked and tasted like McDonalds hash browns chopped up. It was served in a fashion that appeared scooped with an ice cream scoop. It was a round ball, with some parts crunchy and other parts not so much. The wait staff was extremely friendly and efficient.

We had stopped into Short Stacks for breakfast prior to hitting the road to Key Largo this past Saturday. When we walked in, we were seated right away by a very friendly hostess. A couple of minutes after being seated a less than excited waitress greeted us and took our drink order. Our waitress seemed less than excited to be working early on a Saturday morning but she still provided efficient service. The drinks came out quickly along with the food. I ordered an egg-white omelet with dry wheat toast and fresh fruit. Although my order was complicated, it came out perfectly. I was slightly disappointed in the«fresh fruit» as it looked like it was pulled out of a previously packaged fruit salad. Other than that, the food itself was pretty good and the service was quick. A friend got the Caramel Apple Pancakes which, of course, I had to try. They were delicious! If I ever wanted a good cheat meal — this would definitely be a place to go. They had PEANUTBUTTERPANCAKES. Agh my mouth if still watering over just the thought. The price point of the restaurant is great for the quality and amount of food that you get.

I had just got done running a 5K and I was starving, so we tried Short Stacks. We were seated quickly and the server came right over. I can’t remember the name of what I ordered, but it included: eggs, pancakes, bacon, home fries and biscuits and gravy. SOMUCHFOOD! It was only $ 10.95. I got my eggs scrambled, I will say of everything, these were my least favorite. They had zero taste to them and seemed to be overdone. Everything else was excellent. I loved the gravy. The pancakes were fluffy and so good! Great breakfast spot!

Good breakfast. Went on a weekday, heard the weekends are super crowded(not my thing). Service was a little shoddy for being so empty. Pancakes were delicious. Omelette was great. My mom recommended the hash brown casserole and she absolutely loves it, but I personally didn’t like it. Overall, a great place to add to the breakfast roster.
