Nautical Mile Resort Motel

I stayed there for three nights this past Labor Day weekend. If it was not for the horrible bed (causing my lack of sleep for 3 nights), I would have rated this place better. Unfortunately, the bed was small, old, and hard as a rock. And this place is definitely not a «resort» — just a rundown motel with kitchens in the rooms. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros: 1) The location was perfect (Wells Beach, Ogunquit Beach, Footbridge Beach, and other beaches are very close by); 2) the pool and hot tub onsite were nice; 3) there are lots of restaurants and things to do near by; and 4) it was nice to have a small kitchen so we did not have to eat out every meal.
Cons: 1) The bed was HORRIBLE — I barely slept and my back still hurts (my brother and his wife stayed in another room and said the same thing about their bed); 2) the room was outdated — the TV is a tube (not a flat screen or HDTV), the couch is small and uncomfortable, and the dishes are old (bring your own pots and pans if you want to cook); and 3) they allowed people to smoke at the pool (which is a pretty small area and full of children) — the smell got so bad, we eventually left the pool area.
Bottom line — the location is perfect, but the beds are a nightmare. If they upgraded the beds, I might be back, but until then, I am staying away!

We stayed for a wknd and this place is so nice and relaxing! Rooms were clean. Kitchen stocked. Pool and landscaping are great. The staff were wonderful! We will def be back

We stayed here for two nights last year and again this year. It’s a nice location on RT 1. Within walking distance of many restaurants. Has a pool and hot tub that weren’t too crowded when we used them. Some rooms are better decorated than others because some units are timeshare rooms. The unit last year was more of a «feels like home» room, but this year was definitely a hotel room. Nice enough, but maybe spoiled last year. We’ll be back again.
