Great place to store a boat. We have our little sailboat there year round.

This was by far my favourite business during our vacation in Wells.
A single kayak rental is $ 25.00 for 2 hours and a Tandem kayak is $ 40.00 for 2 hours! Such a great deal! They provide life jackets for all and the staff is very friendly/​helpful. I even got my mother out in the kayak, she had such a fun time she now wants to buy one for herself!!! :’)
I recommend this place to anyone looking for kayaking fun in Wells!!!

My fiancé, his mother and myself were in wells on vacation and thought a leisurely paddle through the marshes would be nice. My future mother in law is handicapped so we called ahead seeking advice, seeing if the path given would be easy enough for her. We were assured that at the specific tide time it would be easy as pie and would e thoroughly enjoyable for all.
Wrong.
My fiancé and myself are novice kayakers, having done some as teenagers. But we don’t own our own kayak and could use a refresher on what’s what. We showe up and some snot nosed teenager pointed to the right on the water and simplysaid «don’t go that way. The boats are outside. Black paddles are what you’re using. Get a life vest on the wall».
Uhm. What.
Wouldn’t help us load the boats into the water let alone assist us into the boats. No instruction whatsoever.
Luckily we managed an enjoyed ourselves but getting to the marshes was much more difficult than described over the phone and getting back was nearly impossible.
Also, they did not have womens life vests therefore it was incredibly uncomfortable for me.
I would recommend going somewhere else for the rentals based solely on their lack of customer service. The boats were in great condition but they were the kind you sit on top so you couldn’t move your legs once you sat down.
