I have been a customer of Craft Warehouse for some time now and I feel consistently disappointed by their handling of art supplies. On numerous occasions, my supplies have been damaged before I even swipe my card to pay for them. This is really upsetting because Art is my livelihood and this is one of the only places to get supplies in the valley. I want to feel like the $ 7 per sheet piece of paper that I am buying will not be dented or dirtied before I have the chance to bring it home and then packaged gently so it’s protected for the ride home. Or that my $ 2.50 per pencil colored pencils aren’t being banged on the counter so when I go to sharpen them later, the leads are broken in tons of tiny pieces, making them useless. Also, many items are improperly marked or not marked at all. I don’t want to be a turd, leaving this negative review, but this has happened too many times and I have spent so much money at this store. Please Educate your staff on your merchandise and teach them how to handle expensive art supplies. I usually love shopping for art supplies and stroll through art stores for inspiration. Now I dread it because I don’t trust the staff to take care of the things that I’m buying. I hate leaving bad reviews…

Great place to shop. Lots of great ideas for crafting and the employees are awesome. They are not only knowable but they actually walk you through step by step. From kneading, sewing, painting to any other craft project. Their fabric is affordable and high quality. Even if you are not a crafter, stop by its an awesome place.

Craft Warehouse is chock a block full of a smattering of pretty much any crafting need you might have. They seem to primarily focus on scrapbooking and paper crafts(their supply area is pretty impressive), with a smaller focus on quilting(the second largest area of the store). They also have floral, wood working, and the usual ‘craft of the moment’ type stuff. I /was/impressed to see they have a nice collection of the Zentangle™ books, and a decent selection of drawing supplies. Their staff, so far after about a dozen visits, are the typical retail hit and miss. Some of them are fabulous and some sort of ignore you unless you invade their personal space asking for help. I can’t really fault them and I can’t really notch them up a bit on their service, because that seems to be very much the way of the retail store any more. If they have anything really against them, their yarn selection is very small, limited, and pricy for what it is. Ditto for the knitting and crocheting notions. The other strike is that the place has seriously tall shelves, so you feel sort of trapped and like you’re going to experience a craft-a-lanche at any moment.

Always looking for woodworking patterns; letters and symbols. They got ‘em.
