Excellent! I had the chicken baconranch & a strawberry malt. I felt like a kid again trying to drink that thick malt! Super yummy!

No regrets! Was a little worried because of the reviews. We had ordered double meat cheese burger, fries and a chocolate malt. The hamburger was very juicy and probably the best I’ve had. The fries were hot, crispy and lightly seasoned. The chocolate malt was THICK!

So the food gets five stars it is messy but that is how these burgers are supposed to be lol. the girl that helped us though was horrible it was almost like she was snarling at everyone. No customer service at all from her the guy was a lot better. She was pretty rude which is sad cause those little burger places need the customer service to be good. but food is wonderful and I love the milk shakes

Read previous reviews and was hesitant to come. Glad I did. Food was great. The fish and chips and onion rings were perfectly crispy. Burgers were juicy and just the right amount of messy. Will stop buy again when in town.

Not impressed. Fries were cold and tasted like old grease … the burger was nothing special, over-loaded in ketchup(that’s all I could taste). However, the shake was good and the boy at the pick-up window was friendly, other than that … go somewhere else for a good burger and fries.

Pulled through the drive in and ordered a double combo. That’s a double meat, double cheese burger with fries and a drink. To start with, I thought $ 9.90 was pretty pricey for a burger joint, even a DMDC burger. Picked it up and drove home but not without trying a fry or two on the way. I mean, who doesn’t poach some fries, or even all the fries, when leaving a burger joint? The first thing that struck me was they had almost no flavor except for a faint garlic taste. They didn’t taste like French fries at all! And they were limp and rubbery. I unwrapped the burger at home and boy am I glad I waited! There was so much sauce and condiments from inside the burger smeared on the outside of the burger it was impossible to eat. The bun was so soggy I put it on a paper plate and ate it with a fork. If I had tried to eat that in my truck it would have been all over me and the seats. Yeah, well… Sorry Dusty’s… My one and only experience with you will be my last. This whole order looked like they just threw it together and crammed it in the bag squishing all the filling out of the burger and in to the sack. No excuse for sloppy and careless food handling.

Went through the drive thru today and after opening our to-go bag, we realized it was a huge mess. They honestly should have given ten times the napkins because it was a soupy, sticky mess. Very disappointed that we spent $ 20 on the burgers. It was not appetizing, nor was it even remotely drive thru friendly food.

Let’s be honest; it’s a dive. However, it is freaking delicious! Greasy to the max, but somehow enhancing the flavors with its grease. Fries were not overly salted and still tasted like a potato. Their ranch was above average – not your normal ranch dip. Tarter was extra pickley. Both sauces worth the extra $.40. Burgers had so many flavors. Sweet, savory. It wasn’t pretty, but it was so tasty. Shakes are thick and flavorful. Good sizes for the price. $ 21 got us a cheeseburger, a double cheeseburger, 2 fries, 2 medium shakes and 2 sauces. We will be back.

Dustys has really gone downhill. Used to love eating there. Now, the burgers are inedible, really disgusting. And the girl at the counter could not care less. Sad to see a good restaurant turn into a dump.

Better than average burger. Great service, dealt with 50 odd baseball players and parents in quick order. Would visit again

WOW, the worst burger and fries ever. Roads should buy it back. The fries were probably cooked 30 seconds the dogs wouldn’t even eat them

Delicious and well priced milk shakes. Small is dairy queens medium. Service is not the best… not terrible though. Like 15 flavor choices. Try butterscotch malt :)

When in Wenatchee, if you want a burger made by a local joint, head to Dusty’s. I was in town overnight on business, and I made the horribly unfortunate choice of a Chinese joint nearby, which shall remain nameless here, for dinner the night before. On my way out of town the next day, nothing but a burger was going to suffice, and I am so glad I rolled into Dusty’s. The burger was quite big, excellently charred on the outside and juicy on the inside, with bacon, cheese, and a healthy amount of pickle/veg, plus much mayo. It would have been a MESS were it not expertly wrapped in an old fashioned paper pocket. I was eating this sucker in my car, and I did not spill one glob or wreck my shirt. Fries were salty and basic. Sure there are fancier burgers out there, but Dusty’s wails on any fast food burger joint, including the usual big chain suspects, plus California’s In-N-Out and Five Guys. Fatburger probably tops them, but hey, this is Wenatchee. A little pricey, but you can save a couple bucks by skipping the fries, because you should focus on the hamburg here. It’s delicious. Plus, I believe it was the owner waiting on me, who couldn’t have been more pleasant. We chatted a bit, and he was extremely nice.

Just stopped by for lunch, and the burger was good! Full disclosure: I’m definitely a condiments-over-beef kinda girl, and I made a mistake when I ordered the double. The patties were pretty large, by drive-thru standards, so the burger really was huge. Very greasy and drippy, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing, right? On a side note, the fry sauce was a solid piece of magic. I will definitely go back, but I’ll pray they have a kids meal for me next time!

We arrived on a Monday about 6:00 pm, the drive through was packed and the restaurant was empty. We were greeted with shouts for blah to catch his counter. Well Blah was looked like he just woke up from a bender and his attitude was about the same. After his amazing indifference, he managed to mess up the order and skipped my little guys fries. Then we looked around for a clean table. Impressively, not a table was clean. There was a couple of stray fries in the middle of the floor that looked as if it hasn’t been mopped since the Reagen administration. The 80s music was blazing over the speakers and I thought that Beavis was going to jump out at any moment. When they called our order, my wife notice that despite ordering three drinks the surly serving gal thought it would be brilliant to provide only two straws. Obviously, Blah had trained surly gal well because she was confused when my wife requested another straw. She managed to produce one of the precious straws so that we could get on with our meal. My bacon double cheeseburger was pretty darn tasty when I got to the back of the bag. I think that it was assembled on it’s side in the bag so the relish was pooled at the bottom of the bag like a CSI crime scene. The fries tasted like they were scrapped out of a Grocery Freezer. These were not the same burgers as we have had before. I won’t mention the condition of the restrooms as they would be impressive in an abandoned gas station in Detroit. It’s a shame that this iconic local restaurant has fallen into neglect. I just hope the owner makes some changes and shows up to work instead of just collecting checks from memories of the past.

I have to admit, I use to come here at least once a week. It use to be really good, so good, I couldn’t get enough of it. It’s been at least 7 years since I was last here… and it will probably be another 7 more years till I come back! My hubby’s niece was in town and I invited her to lunch, she was hungry for a burger, so somehow«Dusty’s?» fell out of my mouth. Food was OK, greasy and greasier like I enjoy it with the huge helping of goop sauce and mayo to top it off. I ordered the combo with the Dusty Cheeseburger with onion rings and a small drink, my niece ordered the same thing and she also enjoyed it as well. The only thing I did not like, was the customer service. The guy that took our order just acted like we were such an inconvenience to him. I don’t think he wanted to be there, or working in fact. Overall, he just made my experience a bad one!

I had the Dusty Cheeseburger and my lord did it hit the spot! Had a blackberry shake to wash it all down, I was pretty much in heaven. I wasn’t sure I would like all the toppings the burger came with, but it was one of the best parts. The kids working the counter and kitchen were kind of annoying and not the most polite, but our food came up quick. The inside — the tables and floors were all very clean considering it was lunch time on a Saturday, but the drive through option is there. I don’t eat burgers very offen, usually only at BBQs, but I will definitely be back next time we’re in Wenatchee.

The quality of the burgers have progressively gone down hill from our initial visit to the establishment more than three years ago. On our last visit a month ago, we each ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger had so much sauce that it overwhelmed the entire burger. The area has so many burger joints that it’s hard to want to return to Dusty when you have so many other choices these days.

This is labeled the best burger place in Wenatchee. Given that, I don’t think I want to try any other place in town. And the 5 star rating brought us in — I feel generous giving it 2 stars. The service was adequate — she got our order mostly right. The burgers — I have had better, almost everywhere. Burger King and McDonalds for starters. The shakes were OK. The fries were out of the Costco bag, just like the burger patties. We did find a wonderful burger in Wenatchee, but it wasn’t in a burger joint. The burger we got for the kids at La Bonne Terre was ground chuck and a high class burger, but not the kind of place I would typically go for burgers.
