Sunrise Dental

I was so nervous to go to the dentist after not having been in for a few years, but everyone was really nice and they were able to take care of a couple fillings on my first visit! Very friendly staff :) Also great taste in music! Their pandora radio station was playing all of my favorites– Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Sublime…

Had emergency dental needs on a Friday at 4:45PM! Not the most convenient time for a dentist, however pain waits for no one.
We drove to a couple of other local offices, called three other dentists and they were either closed or too busy to take a late-​hour emergency.
Dr. Skousen’s office, answered the phone, was interested in the problem and prepped for our arrival, and stayed late to see that we could be helped. Additionally, making room in their schedule for the proper procedures to be done the following day when more time permitted.
Having never been in a Sunrise Dental office before, I was pleasantly impressed and have since made Dr. Skousen our primary family dentist. Everyone was extremely friendly and thorough. It might sound strange, but it was actually an enjoyable dental experience, save the pain.
Lastly, it was great to sit and discuss dental needs and plans with a dentist, rather than simply be told what needs to be done.
