Total hole in the wall. Small and local. The server was super friendly. We eat here about once a month, and have yet to be disappointed. Chips and salsa to start, food comes out hot and fresh. They only take cash.

Reasonably priced and very kind service, the lady who served me was very helpful and kind. The nachos rock and are a filling dish for only $ 7!

Dirty and expensive. Poor service. Bland food. Will not go back. Much better Mexican food in Wenatchee.

Love the authentic food, this is really the only place in town that brought me to tears when i asked there camarones a la diabla be spicy and i was not dissapointed. it was really good and i really like to get the fried fish aswell. very friendly and cozy spot. it would be great when they start accepting debit cards soon as it is only cash and local checks as method of payment

Yes! There is a reason to come to Wenatchee and it is Taco Loco! Had a feeling that this place was going to be good based on the reviews but it knocked our socks off! The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Crane asada was thin, tender and seasoned well. Service was super friendly and accommodating. Wanted to box this place up and take it back to Seattle. Yummy! We will be back!

Been here twice in 24 hours. In a town that has a Mexican restaurant on every corner this one not only tastes more authentic but they are fairly priced. Had the wet burrito and my girl had the verde burrito. We each took some home and split a fried ice cream and walked out spending $ 20… Yum! Take out orders are flying out the door so it must be good.

I had the huevos rancheros. Real good. the ranchera sauce on the eggs was kind of a a pink liquid, and the beans seemed canned, but the rice was good, as well as the salsa. About as close to tex mex style as one could find in this area.

A few suggestions: — Bring cash! They don’t accept cards. — Don’t bother ordering the rice and beans. They are… meh! I love rice and beans but these ones, I just couldn’t get on board with. — Stick with the basics I ordered a 2 chicken tacos plate(comes with rice and beans). They asked if I wanted cheese on my tacos and I said yes. I got the food home and found that they gave me 1 chicken taco with rice and beans. There is an interesting and not particularly palatable seasoning that they put in their beans and the rice was oily. I was sad that I only got 1 taco because that was definitely the best part(once I took the over abundance of cheese off). If I go back, I will order 2 chicken tacos with no cheese and no sides. They also gave us some chips and salsa. I hate to say this but they may have the worse salsa I’ve ever tasted. One of them was red and tasted like crushed canned tomatoes. The other was pink and was somewhat flavorful but had absolutely no kick to it. I dumped the whole container on my taco and it really didn’t add anything. It is the most boring salsa I’ve ever tasted. Stick to the basics here guys. The server was so incredibly nice and accommodating. As I always say, service can make or break a place. They’re doing it right at this little taco shop when it comes to customer service.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Wenatchee, for sure the fastest. Great place to stop for lunch. The service is always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it :)

It was good food — fresh ingredients and authentic. Only a couple of tables, the waitress was nice, and the food came quickly. I had a chimichanga which was delicious. Portions were large, the tortilla chips were fresh. I have to say the thing that pushed this over the top from very good to amazing was my 12 y.o. son ordered ceviche with octopus(typically served raw, but he ordered it warm) and liked it. Usually he’ll go to a mexican restaurant and try to order chicken nuggets. I don’t know what pushed him over the edge, but he chewed his way through quite a few pieces of octopus(and they were generous with both the octopus and shrimp) and said it was terrific. Menudo was the special — which we didn’t order. My daughter had a taco, and she said she’d give it five stars as well. Nice little restaurant, definitely worth a visit.

We stopped by Wenatchee on our way back from Chelan to have an early dinner at Taco Loco. Absolutely worth the short detour into town. I got 2 Super Tacos(carnitas and carne asada); my friend got the Taco Loco platter(bacon, prawns, carne asada). While the tacos were pretty dang good, large, tasty and filling, trust the Unilocal reviews on this one and get the seafood. The prawns in the Taco Loco platter were perfectly cooked: so juicy and tender. Yum-o! The rice beans and corn tortillas were pretty good too. The carne asada was flavorful, though a tad on the tough side. I think it went better shredded inside the tacos. Taco Loco takes cash only, so be prepared. Prices were very reasonable. We got nachos, drinks and a fried ice cream dessert as well — yes, we were stuffed afterwards! — and it came out to a little over $ 20.

Oh the Wet Burrito! This place is the best value in town! For $ 7.50 you get a HUGE, delicious burrito that will feed you twice, unless you have a HUGE appetite. The chips and salsa are good, the service is great but the value is unbeatable! I would highly recommend Taco Loco!

Passing through Wenatchee during lunch time and decided I needed some tacos. Fired up the Unilocal app on my iPhone and top result given was Taco Loco. Sounds crazy, but I’m game! Located on the main drag(Wenatchee Ave) this place is a tiny hole in the wall. Not more than 6 – 8 tables inside. The waitress was very friendly and spoke english well. I ordered two Super Tacos w/carne asada and one Chili Relleno. The tacos live up to the name, they are large! Once I uncovered them from the pound of lettuce they were buried in I was ready to start. Excellent corn tortillas and carne asada was juicy and well seasoned. I also enjoyed the chili relleno, who doesn’t like egg and cheese?! Will definitely be back once in town next time and need that taco fix!

This little hole in the wall Mexican joint is pretty great. I’ve tried the tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. Next time I go I’ll try something more interesting. The fish tacos were pretty incredible too but they are a bit saucy. If your not a saucy person you might wanna ask for it on the side. They serve beers too but you can’t drink them on the patio. It’s pretty small inside but I’ve never had a hard time getting a table. Def recommend this joint :)

I read the reviews and was looking forward to this. I was not happy. The taco was bland and greasy. My carne asada was tough and chewy. The guacamole was runny and flavorless. My wife’s fajitas were cooked to a tough and chewy texture with no flavor other that butter. The staff was nice a friendly, but I went for the food. I hope this was an accident and not the norm.

A little gem of a Mexican restaurant in Wenatchee. Unlike the Americanized Mexican food that you’ll find elsewhere in Wenatchee(La Fuente), Taco Loco is the real deal. Not heavy on the cheese or sour cream and the sauces are extremely good. Seafood — which is a Mexican delicacy — is presented prominently on the menu. Try the camarones al diabla(shrimp of the devil). The burritos are the best non-seafood choice. But the prices are just amazing for what you get. There’s hardly a dish that breaks the $ 10 barrier — and for $ 8.95, one generally gets a huge plate of food with extremely fresh-tasting ingredients. If you reside in Wenatchee or are just visiting, you owe it to yourself to check out this place. It is run by the same owners who run Restaurante el Sol on North Wenatchee Ave, near Wal-Mart.
