I am finishing the last week of summer quarter, which completes my first year at Wenatchee Valley College. I am having such a great experience! We really do have a gem in this school and my only regret is that I didn’t enroll in college sooner, I am 39 years old and could have done this while my kids were in school, even when they were elementary school-age. I have taken a full coarse load every quarter and all of my professors(with the exception of one) have been brilliant! It is such a positive environment and there is an interesting mix of people my age, older, and much younger, all getting their education. The campus is beautiful, the class sizes are small enough that that the professors care about every student in class and there is FREE tutoring available in the library to all students. I have learned so much already this year, and look forward to beginning my 2nd year this fall. You don’t have to take on an entire full-time degree program, you can just take a class for fun. Open your mind-it feels great :)
