My boyfriend and I are vacationing in Leavenworth, and when we saw the Wild Huckleberry location here(and all of the wonderful pictures of their food on Unilocal), we knew we wanted to have this for breakfast. Unfortunately the Leavenworth location is closed during the weekdays in the winter, so we took the drive to Wenatchee. This place is small but inviting, and has many options to satisfy-so many that the boyfriend couldn’t choose! I knew right away that I wanted the Huckleberry waffle. It was HUGE, and the dollop of mascarpone cheese in the middle was heaven. It is $ 10 alone-I do wish it came with maybe an egg/bacon side. The boyfriend chose sausage patties, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The sausage was so flavorful, and the biscuits were moist. The giant side of gravy was so rich and savory! We are really glad we made the drive!

We went here for breakfast last year and was exceptionally pleased with the delicious omelet, hot coffee and hashbrowns. Best breakfast place in town, with friendly warm-hearted service!

Yummy, delicious breakfast selections. The crab eggs benedict, omelettes, hash browns and waffles with creamy butter and warm syrup is outstanding. I have never enjoyed their breakfasts anywhere more! In addition, the wait staff is attentive and never have to ask for a coffee refill no matter how busy they are! Plenty of parking across the street, front, and back of the house. If you are looking for unique gifts, quality clothes or jewelry, there is also a wonderful boutique below accessible from the street of that is awesome. The interior of this old Craftsman house is adorable, warm and inviting. Did I mention the variety of hand lotions in the restroom for your pleasure? I’d say it’s the best breakfast place in Wenatchee. Next time I really need to check out the lunch and dinner. I’m sure they are as delicious!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Even though it was busy, wait for a party of four was short. Servers were friendly and quick. The food is delicious, and portion sizes are fair. Quite kid friendly. Pancakes and waffles are amazing. Biscuits are light and fluffy. Only area needing improvement was their chicken fried steak. I am a chicken fried steak aficionado, and their steak was not very good. Tasted like the meat was cut with bread, giving it kind of a mealy texture. Definitely a great little restaurant. I highly recommend!

This is a wonderful place for breakfast, brunch or lunch(I think they do dinner now too). I have never been disappointed by this lovely restaurant. Breakfast is better than anywhere else in town and their Caesar salad is scrumptious. My favorite drink is their blueberry lemonade. Their service is also a cross between wonderful and homey. A great experience and I regularly take my out of town guests there for brunch

I would give this place 5 stars but the simple fact they are a breakfast place and don’t know proper egg temperatures gives it a 4. I didn’t want to be an ass and correct my waitress when she told me that an over easy egg has runny white and if I wanted cooked whites I should order them over medium. This is entirely wrong! I’ve attended culinary school and been in restaurants for 15 years. I have known even before culinary school that an over easy egg is cooked whites with a runny yolk(dippy eggs) but recently have been told more and more that I am wrong. It’s simple, the culinary definition of an over easy egg has not changed despite the fact that more and more breakfast places I attend think that over easy eggs should have a runny white… below is a link to exact egg temperature definitions for future reference!

Wild Huckleberry is a great place to go for breakfast in Wenatchee. The food is excellent as well as the atmosphere. Even on busy weekends the service is timely and the staff is friendly and attentive. Make sure you are hungry when you go, the portions are quite generous! My new found favorite on the menu is the hash brown omelette ;)

This was highly rated on Unilocal(and deservedly so!) and close to the hotel we stayed at so we tried it out. I just ordered a rather simple eggs over medium, toast, hashbrowns, and coffee. But it was all SO delicious! They serve Tony’s coffee which I had never had before, but promptly went out and bought after my visit. The hashbrowns were expertly cooked. Crunchy and golden on the outside with the perfect soft warm delicious potato goodness on the inside.(Have you ever tried to cook hashbrowns at home?! It’s hard to get them right!). The interior is an old Craftsman style house and the owner has expertly chosen some great games that my kids enjoyed(read: stayed engaged and at the table) while we waited for our food to arrive. There are also a plethora of scented lotions in the ladies restroom and I felt like I was having breakfast at a friend’s house. The staff(sorry, forgot our server’s name!) was equally as awesome and on top of checking back and topping off coffee without being too intrusive. I’ll eat here each time we visit the area! So cute! Well done ladies!

Visiting wenatchee from out of town. Went to huckleberry for brunch due to the awesome reviews on Unilocal. We were not disappointed! There was a line but we only waited about 5 minutes to get seated. Once seated the waitress was very pleasant and quick with our orders. We got bloody Mary’s delicious. The pancake is huge enough to share with 4 people. I got the Spanish omelet it was delicious. Definitely would go again and refer others to go!

I came here for breakfast after receiving word from the locals that this was the best breakfast joint in Wenatchee. To my surprise this is a renovated old home, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can enter from the main entrance in the front of the house or in the back, where there are a few parking spaces. There is also a designated parking lot across the street for customers. They serve Tony’s drip coffee, which is awesome. All of the items are less than 13 bucks, and the portions are big. I ordered the Huckleberry Waffle with whipped cream and mascarpone cheese for nine bucks. The waffle was a good size and nicely toasted, yet the huckleberry sauce was very liquid-y and so much of it. Because of this I wasn’t able to taste much of the mascarpone cheese. Though the huckleberries were good, I would’ve preferred less sauce from the berries. My friends ordered a pancake which was bigger than the plate it came on – good for sharing. I also liked that they had family-friendly games there, since my friends have very young children. We came here on a weekday at around 8AM, so the place wasn’t so filled, but I imagine that this can get busy during popular times.

Why 5 stars? Because there’s a reason they have some of the best reviews in Wenatchee. — — — You know how when you go on vacation, there are those unsung, and unexpected moments that you stumble upon, wishing that time would just stop? There’s this crazy sense of urgency where I’ll find the ultimate moment of zen, that’s both perfect and stressful at the same time. The stress comes from the realization that the moment will soon be over, and the perfect-ness will be just a memory. Do I take a bunch of pictures/video, or do I just try to maximize every second of enjoyment and keep my phone in my pocket? While sitting on the front patio of Wild Huckelberry, during a cloud-less, 65 degree morning, overlooking the mountains… this was my debate. I opted to take food pictures(because, obviously) but to enjoy the moment distraction-free, outside of that. For locals, or residents of the west coast, maybe that kind of scenery is common place. But for a native Texan and current Floridian, I look at mountains like they’re winning Powerball tickets. Give me all the mountains! As for Wild Huckleberry itself, the service was incredibly friendly and prompt. And our breakfast was delicious. I was in the mood for a good olé’ face-stuffin’, so I opted to try the small California eggs benedict, as well as the cinnamon bread french toast. The french toast was solid, but that benedict was one of the best I’ve ever had. If I could change one thing, it would be an espresso machine swapping out the traditional coffee pot. So much caffeine has gone through my veins that the Folgers in my cup doesn’t exactly do the trick these days. And then there’s always the awkward cup refill as soon as you’ve achieved the perfect coffee: cream/sugar ratio.

Awesome service! Wait time was 5mins even with a packed house! Pancakes take up your whole plate! Beware!(Literally. It was hanging off my plate! People were gawking!) I had chicken fried steak & boyfriend had biscuits & gravy. No complaints here! Don’t do the generic restaurants for breakfast(ahem smittys) Drive a little further down the road to huckleberry. We were in town from Seattle(camping re: sunlakes) & we will be back next camp trip for sure.

Okay… My boyfriend and I are HUGE breakfast fans and this place absolutely blew us away. I would talk about the incredible service, reasonable prices, and adorable restaurant itself, but that’s not what’s most important here. The chef/s in the back room are angels sent from above to bless our taste buds with amazing quality and HUGE portions of food. I had the country breakfast with French toast(to die for) with bacon and eggs(awesome), and he had the pancakes(thick and fluffy and gigantic portions… I think the hulk would even struggle to finish) with bacon and sausage(equally as awesome). Overall a wonderful experience and a highlight of our wenatchee stay. Will be back anytime we get the chance!!!

Sunday morning in Wenatchee! I arrived around 10, we had to wait for about 10 minutes and were seated. The menu is 90% full of unhealthy foods, but I did find something healthy, the gold’s gym omelette; veggies and eggbeaters with side of fruit. Average pretty much sums it up. The service was mildly slow, but they were busy so I don’t blame the staff rather the management for staff shortage. Inside feels dirty, like an old house is dirty. There are toys and candy all over the front waiting area, probably great for distracting kiddos. Might return if I’m craving something unhealthy. Decent place.

Such a cute cozy breakfast/lunch spot! It used to be a house converted into a restaurant, so you definitely get that homey feeling when you walk in. Before I made the trek back to Seattle, my friend and I had breakfast here. I ordered the granny smith omelet with a biscuit and gravy and my friend had the eggs benedict with hash browns. My omelet had bits of apples, sausage, green peppers, mushroom, onions, and cheese. The omelet was a bit bland, but after a little salt and pepper, it tasted better. Biscuits were buttery and the gravy was good. My friend really enjoyed his benedict on a biscuit, not english muffin, and huge portion of hash. I saw other patrons order pancakes and OMG they were huge! Two pancakes that covered and went over the side of the plate. We ended up ordering a pancake to go to drop off for my friend at work. Since the pancake had to fit in the box, the waitress informed us they would have to make it smaller, so it’ll be two pancakes for only $ 3. Although I wasn’t won over by the food, service was great and I just love the charm and feel of the restaurant. Parking is either on the street or in their lot across the street.
