I’ve eaten from here once and took a to go menu. Whenever I am looking to order out I glance over the menu and it’s just Boring. Not enough variety to get me to actually order. The one time I did the food was okay but nothing special.

YUP. I am so grateful for this place. I hope they do well. My porky burrito was amazing. The salsa blew me away though. So fresh! Also do your sweet tooth a favor and try both kinds of their brownies. You won’t be disappointed. Please remember this place the next time you want quick Mexican. Stay away from Chipotle and Qdoba and the like. Support local!

Awesome food! Really fresh and good prices too. I got the pork tacos with pico de gallo, a side of rice and one of the owner’s AMAZING brownies!

I decided to give this newer Mexican place a shot after I saw some favorable online reviews. It is located in an older, partially full strip center in Oak Valley. I walked in and was greeted by someone that is apparently the owner — Hannah according to her apron. Hannah was very friendly and asked how I had heard about Amigos and what I thought of the place. Always pleasant to have the owner wanting to improve their business. I ordered two a la carte tacos — at $ 3 each. They were stuffed full of toppings. The homemade medium salsa was delicious. I thought the port was a smidge dry, but the taco meat was perfect. I am going to give Amigos another try to explore the menu a little deeper, but so far so good. Give this place a shot. Delivery is also available.

This may be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, especially for the price. I got a chicken burrito, chicken quesadilla, and 2 empanadas for my brother, cousin, and me and it was enough food for all of us. Only cost $ 22. Dude hooked me up with an extra chicken empanada and queso dip. This is no doubt the best Mexican option in Gloucester county. I will def be back.

Gave this place a second chance and I am glad I did! The food was delicious! The pork tacos and empanadas were amazing! The guy working the counter was very nice to! I will be back!

I love this place! Tried it as it’s close by when I visit my mother. My first meal there was the mole chicken entrée. I like to cut the chicken up and mix everything together. It’s a decent serving size and tastes great! Since then, I’ve tried their empanadas(my fav is the chicken), chicken Mexicana(super tasty), burritos, etc. I haven’t had good Mexican like this in a long time. Went there shortly after they first opened and still pick up a meal or two when I’m heading home. I hope this place sticks around for many years.

My husband and I decided to try Amigos tonight for dinner, and let me just say it was phenomenal!!! First of all, they make their OWN Tortillas from scratch. Their Empanadas are packed with flavor and are fried to perfection! The Burrito was HUGE and the Chicken Teriyaki Tacos are delicious! The sauce is tangy yet sweet. The slaw top the tacos with give them just the right amount of crunch. Finally, The woman who runs the place is very very friendly. I came in 5 minutes before closing and she did not mind explaining menu items without rushing me. I never Unilocal restaurants, actually this is my first Unilocal review ever, but I just felt like I had to write one for Amigos because they are a newer buisiness and totally deserve a good review. Forgot to mention also that they DELIVER. We will definitely be back!

I was so excited to see this place open up, being that Wenonah’s take out options are pretty much limited to pizza or Chinese. The food here is fresh and comes out quickly. I’ve eaten in their dining area twice now and been very happy. Now this place is casual, but my group of four had really great time and enjoyed ourselves. The service was friendly and attentive. Anna was very nice. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu.

WOW! Our first experience at Amigos and they are instant new friends for the wife and I. Freshly made, bold with spice but not over the top, this gem is hidden in Wenonah next to the Wenonah Market on Ogden Station Rd. If you like Mexican then this place is an oasis in the desert of pizza shops in South Jersey. I had the Chicken Amigo Burtito and it was amazing! Please support a new local business that makes great food.

I’ve gotten take-out for lunch a few times already. So far everything I’ve tried has been good. My co-workers all say the same. And as an added bonus, they deliver to the Wenonah pool in the summer.

Decided to try this place today because I heard good things. Had to convince my wife to go because the whole little shopping center is pretty run down but we went… one table of two people in the place and my wife and i stood at the counter to order for 10 mins and what seemed to be– the only guy working– never even acknowledged that we were standing there. They had plates set up so you could see what the food looked like. It actually looked good except for the flies all over it. We got tired of waiting and just went somewhere else. Cant say anything about the food because we never even got to try it. Service and cleanliness were pretty bad. This place probably wont last long. Shame.

It’s hard to rate this start up. It’s still new so I think they need a learning curve but I have been 4 times now all different days and times. It’s very close by, but it lacks consistency. It’s never BAD food but some days it’s much better. 3 tacos for 8.75 is a bit expensive but the tacos were huge and 3 were very filling so it was worth it. I’m talking a stuffed 10 inch fajita wrap and you get 3. Oddly the next time I want the fajitas were much smaller so there goes the value. Then they were big again. Tonight they were tiny. I like consistency and value with my food. Now what you do get is very fresh and the customer service is top notch. There is only a tiny tiny eat in area a couple tables for 2 people. Porky quesadillas are delish! So is the general tso’s and Thai peanut sauce. They just expanded their menu which was cool. I got the large nachos. That was the first thing I got there that was really awful. It didn’t even look good. They were dry. The shredded cheese isn’t melted on. Everything just fell off the chip. NOT worth 7.95. Good size portion and each ingredient tasted good but there is no cohesiveness. I love nachos. I ended up eating most of the chips plain. These need work! Large chunks of chicken aren’t right with chips. Maybe the shredded pork is better or a ground beef option? I hope these get a makeover soon! Overall this is a good spot. It’s not in a busy area so it’s one of the only super local options. It’s worth trying. But you might have to try twice to give it a fair shake because of the lack of consistency. Since they are new though maybe it will change.

My wife and I love this place. Great food… but lacks consistency. It’s become sort of a joke when we order…“what did they forget this time”. If they can make sure everything that you ordered is in the bag than I’ll give it a 5 star.

New local Mexi-fusion place in the Oak Valley area that has opened up next door to Vito’s Pizza. The menu is posted online, and they deliver. Always a plus to find delivery that’s not the usual Italian or Chinese in this part of SJ. They do seem like new business owners, so there may be some kinks to work out. I went the create-your-own route, which is perfect for the picky eaters out there. It was $ 8.75 for a slow cooked pork and rice bowl. I posted a pic for reference. Everything was pretty tasty. Now it did kinda leave me craving Chipotle but seriously, it was good considering Wenonah’s dearth of dining options. They do burritos and bowls and quesadillas etc. The entrees look intriguing and I’ll definitely be ordering the chicken dinner for 4 at only 20 bucks sometime. All told, this is a great addition to the area & it’s actually really easy to get to on your way from Shoprite. Check it out & show the local business some love! I would like to add that I would NOT trust reviewers who almost exclusively post 1 or 2 star reviews.
