Beautiful decorated pastry shop with cutesy patio. The cupcake flavors are very unique.

What a cute place! I loved this little bakery. The cases were lined with delicious, cavity inducing confections!!! The gentleman working the counter and register was dressed perfect for the atmosphere in this store. My friend and I both had a cup cake and a bottle water. We sat outside on the covered patio and enjoyed a visit. I didn’t like that the employee put both cup cakes in one container. Also, the cup cakes are obviously made ahead and kept really cold/​maybe frozen and then thawed, I’m not sure. While the flavor was excellent the frosting was too hard to enjoy on the spot. I recommend taking them home and letting them sit out or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds. Of course, fresh would be even better. With a great side patio, and the beautiful weather you find in the RGV, I would think they would want to serve these tasty treats in a fashion that would encourage customers to sit awhile. At the very least, please put the cup cakes in separate containers.

Just discovered this gem this week. What a great little place. The cupcakes are amazing! Really, they’re frosting’s are perfect. Most of the cupcakes I’ve tried seem oil-​based. They keep their moisture BUT be sure to eat them same day you buy them. They get a little mushy after a day. No complaints otherwise. The flavors are spot on. Their cream cheese frosting and peanut butter frostings are especially good. They’re light and flavorful without being overpowering. I can taste some shortening in the buttercream. It sticks to the palate. Well-​creamed butter won’t do that. This place is a triumph!

I love this place. But I would NOT recommend the cupcakes. Anything and everything else is just delicious. My favorite is their coconut crème cake and their big fat cookie.

I’ll never buy cupcakes anywhere else, and I’ve basically put off full-​time dieting until I move away. As it is right now I live in the neighborhood and I’m glad that happiness has the hours posted because if they were open any more often I would be wasting my life away eating scrumptious baked goods on their adorable patio.
The employees here are genuinely fun to talk to and knowledgable. Tip them.
Also, the death by chocolate brownie would be my last meal if I got to choose it. Gooey, strong, dark chocolate that melts in your mouth. And it isn’t that typical «cakebrownie» hybrid crap, either. It’s a legit, huge, brick of a brownie with chocolate chunks, that will ruin all other brownies for you.
All of my friends who aren’t from the valley that have visited me, basically say that the best thing we have around here (Weslaco) is Happiness Cupcakes.

Some of the best baked goods I have ever tasted. Delicious cupcakes, breads, cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, bars, etc. Everything is made from scratch and is just awesome! We look forward to going and eating our favorites, plus trying all the new flavors!

This is the best bakery in the valley! A lot of cupcake places have dry cupcakes, but these are fresh and made with all natural ingredients… no mixes or prepackaged frosting here! They also have awesome cookies, cheesecakes, brownies and bread! The staff is helpful and friendly and we absolutely LOVE Happiness Cupcakes!
