It’s unfortunate that every time I come here on my lunch break, all the employees have the nastiest attitude or the «I don’t care to serve you «attitude. I haven’t had any problems with the food but they act like its a burden to come here. Oh well, guess my home Dairy Queen in zephyrhills will have to be the spot for lunch from now on. Sorry

One of the worst customer service DQ I’ve been to. Waited in drive thru line for 15 mins with only 3 cars ahead of me. I’m sure my ice cream was melted before I got there. They didn’t deserve my money since they already stole so much of my time, so I left. The guy on the intercom was extremely short with me. I will never go back to this store.

I only continued to visit this location as a mere lack of options. Fortunately a few other options have come along in the past year so I never need to return.
The drive thru is very slow. The counter service is very slow. The second star is because the ice cream is decent.
I believe the reason is that the site is staffed ONLY with very young and very inexperienced employees and a ridiculous turn over. That is not to say that young employees can’t be exceptional. It is to say the generally, they require a more experienced manager to train and lead them. I don’t blame the young employees for the failure that is this location. I blame the owners for not providing training and leadership.

There is no problem whatsoever with this Dairy Queen! It is a perfect convenient stop for a blizzard, or an ice cream treat for me and my pup!
I have been here to eat outside or have it to go through the drive through!
They are super efficient and helpful! My last time we came and I got a Grasshopper pie blizzards (mint chocolate chip), and plain vanilla for the spoiled pup! We were both happy campers!

I’m adding a star. The owner reached out to me this morning, and apologized for the poor service that I have received from this location. I do appreciate this, as he did take the time to call me, and explain that he will be working on the issues that I have brought to his attention… I’ll give them another shot.. :)

My boyfriend and I were having a sweet tooth, and this was close to home so we figured this would be a nice quick stop. My boyfriend asked if they had the quesadilla bites (we usually go to the diary queen grill and chill that have them & that are advertised) to which the employee’s response was «this is not Taco Bell». Which is obvious. That was just rude and uncalled for. And the drive thru wait was at least 20 min. Point is they suck. And I’ve read the other comments on this location. Dairy Queen just really needs to get some new employees for this place. It’s also an old building, the drive thru had a paper on it with handwriting on it. Very poorly written. Dairy Queen should actually just close this location.

Not even exaggerating, drive thru wait was over 45 min. By then I was stuck and couldn’t back out and they honestly expected me to pay, asked for a manager and got attitude. 45 MIN AT A DQ DRIVE THRU. Horrible.

Please do not waste your money here. I pulled up to the drive thru the girl said ill be with you in one moment, more like 6 minutes… I order went to next window she took my money no thank you or anything & then said your food will be right out i sat there for 5 mintues watching ppl walking in and out getting there food. I had to get back to work i honked and a different girl came over and said yes? i told her i been sittting in my car for at least 10 minutes now i would like a refund THEN the girl in the back she was african american young twenties screamed shes only been sitting there for 6 minutes she can wait! THEN i got pissed demanded for my refund and i will never be coming back. WORSE drivethru and coustmer experience ever dont go. That chick needs to be fired.

This is an older Dairy Queen. The inside is small and most of the people inside had ordered just Ice cream, so it went pretty smooth. Very clean bathroom, but overall it was a decent experience. I’ve been to way worse.

Sssloooooooow. The kids behind the counter were hustling but seemed to need more help. This is not the first time I have noticed that at this location. Perhaps the owner of this franchise or a manager with a little more experience should witness this and either step up to the plate themselves or staff more people.

This is your standard Dairy Queen, with recent renovations, although I’m afraid to go inside and see if the weird smell is gone. I sure hope so! They employ teenagers, who aren’t too concerned with work ethic or customer service, so hopefully you go there for the ice cream and not the ambiance (ha!) or service. We usually get our ice cream in the drive thru and then sit outside at the tables and eat or take it home. No complaint about the ice cream itself, it’s your typical Dairy Queen. They do have car shows here occasionally, but doesn’t look enticing enough for me to make a special trip.

Not horrible, but far from great. Ice cream was good as you’d expect, but I’d go somewhere else for sandwiches and the like. They didn’t put napkins in the bag, which makes the drive all the more enjoyable.

Not even giving it one star. The place was covered in flies. Three people behind the counter… one training the other two. Order took forever because she was teaing and she was rude to
me for trying to give the order faster.(apparently customer service is not part of the training.) Only teenage staff and ones who never used a cash register. District manager should be ashamed… it was filthy and you could smell rancid oil walking in the door. Next time my kids crave Dairy Queen ill drive to Tampa.
