If my 6 year old wrote the review, it would be 5 stars. He had a blast. Me and the other two kiddos were unimpressed. It’s muggy inside — country music playing the whole time and kind of funny — nothing blocking all of the light coming in every time someone opens the door. Kind of takes away from the theme. The guy working the counter was nice enough. We did the $ 15 for 4 Groupon and I would agree, still not worth it.

Even with a Groupon it’s not worth it. Like everyone else has pointed out, it’s hot inside(even when it’s not hot outside), the murals on the walls look like they were done by kids, and you need to be on guard against flying golf balls, swinging putters and kids running all over the place. It’s a single open space with some covered 2×4’s and neon paint. Just yucky.

I went here twice with a few buddies and was not impressed. There was only one person working and probably 30 kids running around being crazy. They would start playing on our hole while we were still using it and even run across the equipment mid-swing. It’s the parents responsibility to watch their kids but the management should also take action at some point. It was basically a free for all and even with all that we were able to complete the entire course in under 15 minutes. It just wasn’t worth it to go to Glow Golf. The entire experience wasn’t enjoyable or fun. We ended up only playing one of the three rounds we paid for before getting frustrated and leaving.

A few friends and I visited GlowGolf on a Groupon deal. My friend was home on leave from the navy and we just wanted to have a fun afternoon. Since it’s inside the outdoor Shops at Wiregrass, the interior is not very large. You can play all 18 holes relatively quickly. When you enter the room, there is a large laser game to the left that you can pay to play. To the right, you will find the cashier desk where you pay for your game, get your golfballs, and choose your clubs. There are dozens of children running around at all times, which you would expect from this sort of establishment. The main problem with GlowGolf is that there’s no real order to things and there isn’t sufficient room to wait while other groups finish out each hole. Everyone bunches together and usually kids start playing on your hole before you can finish. The décor isn’t much to look at either. it’s just black light paint. We had a deal for three rounds and only played one, if that tells you anything. I don’t think any of us would be returning anytime soon.
