5 Stars for sure! I have previously visited other optical ‘outlet’ type places that have been horrible. First of all, the receptionist Donna was so kind in squeezing me in as a new patient on a Friday afternoon. I was there for an exam and glasses. I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving… something I haven’t had happen in years! My previous optical centers had wait times of up to an hour before being seen. Dr. Luckey’s office was much different and very organized.
The staff was super friendly and professional. They seem to be very customer centered and did not make me feel rushed or pressured in any way. Dr. Luckey was a great person and knew what he was talking about. He made me feel comfortable and educated me on my vision problems. The equipment in the office is advanced and the eye exam was fast. They have a large selection of designer glasses and take most insurance plans. They are more expensive than your chain outlets, but it is worth the care and quality (especially if you do have vision insurance). I ended up spending $ 96 for the exam and a pair of Coach glasses with transition lenses. Warning: without insurance I would have paid $ 700!!! The staff reviews your insurance with you before even touching any frames.
Overall, I am very very happy with Luckey EyeCare and I have already recommended to a few friends and family. If you are looking for a small office with an amazing staff, plus a nice selection of frames… go here, you won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend Luckey Eye Care. I didn’t have an eye Dr. and I injured my eye. Luckey Eye Care had me come right in even though I wasn’t a patient and Dr. Luckey wasn’t seeing patients that day. The staff and Dr. Luckey were the most professional people I have encountered in Florida. Dr. Luckey gave me very thorough explanations and really took his time with me. My eye was so much better the very next day. I would return here in a heartbeat!

Every person in this office is patient, helpful, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I wish every office was run this way! It’s a joy to be around people who clearly enjoy their jobs and even better to be treated so well.

I’ve been coming to Dr. Luckey for several years. He’s a great doc I highly recommend him.
