I wasn’t expecting much from a Days Inn, but I was pleasantly surprised. True, the place is dated, but the rooms are very big. The beds are comfortable and the staff is amazing. Very close to everything you may need and a nice discount at the attached restaurant for hotel guests. A great value for the extremely low price.

FRAUD! THISPLACEWILLRIPYOUOFFIFYOUTRYTOCANCEL! I was charged twice from this place! When asked for a refund, the manager would not comply. Gave me the run around. Blatantly LIED about check in info. I called several times and was told he couldn’t do anything and hung up on me!!! Bottom line: I will never do business with this place ever again! THIEVES!

I’ve stayed here before and I will definitely stay here again. The price is right, the rooms are clean and had no musty smell at all. The person who check us in was polite and accommodating. It is close to everything and it’s only a $ 10 cab ride to the State Fair grounds. But the most impressive thing was that my husband left his watch on the sink counter and the cleaning staff turned it in and after talking with the manager the watch was sent back to us.

It’s definitely in need of updating, but I can look past that for the price. It’s a decent budget hotel. The guy who checked us in was a douche. I had read that refrigerators were available upon request, so I asked him if we could have one and he responded, «For what? You’re only staying one night». I needed it for my daughter’s milk, but that’s not really any of his business anyway. He then said they were all out, but in a rude way. Okay, sorry for asking. Well when we walked into our room, there was already a fridge in there. Problem solved. The rooms are dated, but not terrible. My only beef with the rooms are that the bathroom didn’t have a vent. It got really steamy, and I tried to take a cooler shower to cut back on the steam. Another reason I’m knocking off a star is because of security at the hotel. They left one of the side doors open all night. I think they do that because they’re not setup to let guests in with their room key fab, so they just leave the outside doors unlocked. Lastly, they loose a star for appearance. I get that it’s an older hotel and you get what you pay for, but you can still do things to dress it up. They had 3 large flower pots in the hallway. One had a completely dead plant in it and the to other 2 were just pots of dirt. It’s summertime, no excuse for that. It had an average breakfast in the morning. Overall, I would say it’s a good budget hotel. Not a place I would take a first date too unless you didn’t plan on having a second date. I’d probably pay more to get something nicer next time.

My company paid for me to stay here for about a year. Very accommodating staff close to food and shopping. The beds are super comfortable.

My room wasn’t terrible but not great either. Front desk staff is very nice and accomodating. The hotel building seemed old and upon entering my room I saw a used water bottle upon the ac(gross). The lighting in my room wasn’t too bad but everything in the room felt a little sticky(the fridge, remote control, etc) which annoyed me a little bit. The room smelled like smoke and with people smoking not too far from the open doors, the room smelled almost every night. One of the biggest bummers for my stay was the plumbing. The toilet wouldn’t flush well and it became really annoying. Lastly, the bedsheets. I have never had a hotel change my bedsheets with«fresh» bedsheets with holes. It grossed me out a little bit. My stay wasn’t all that bad however… at least the noise level wasn’t bad and I felt that my stay could have been worse. The room isn’t too expensive and it’s close by to a lot of stores and restaurants. word of advice. don’t request a first floor room. Although it was nice to have parking so close by, I’m not sure I enjoyed the smoke smell or the terrible plumbing.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend while in town for the Milwaukee tattoo convention. I thought the rooms were bigger than average motel rooms and unlike the last poster I thought it smelled great. Nice actually. The front desk staff is really nice. I was cold one night and the heater wasn’t working so the front desk man brought me a space heater — at 2 in the morning, friendly as can be. Folks, this is a motel, so kindly rate it as one. Don’t expect a Days Inn to be Cesar’s Palace and then give it one star because it doesn’t compare. That’s silly. This motel is central and within an mile you can find a Target, Subway, Walgreens, and was only 2 miles away from the Fairgrounds where our convention was. Good little place, stay here if you are on a budget. There is free wi-fi and continental breakfast each morning.

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this motel. The room smelled kind of musty, moldy. The water system was below average. Not too good, Although the TV channel selection is less hackneyed than many of the hotels & motels I’ve stayed at.
