I’ve been a long time lover of Piggly Wiggly… unfortunately, this store does not match any of the others I’ve been in. Regardless of the time I go, the shelves are often missing quite a few products. The produce section is just miserable, with many of the items having mold on them and flies surrounding them. Today, I went to buy Babybel cheese, only to find that more than half of them were long expired (dates of December 11th and 25th, today is January 2nd). In addition to the many other examples I can give you about poor product quality, the employees are not any better. Regularly when I approach a register, the cashier will be off at the counter talking to other employees. When they finally notice me, they don’t bother to greet me, even though I smile and say hi, and instead talk to the bagger about inappropriate gossip the whole time. I will not be shopping here anymore, as it has been just an awful experience too many times.

The produce section isn’t well stocked and the quality is low. The items are usually bruised or moldy. The bagging is also really bad. I put items on the counter grouped together, and they seem to go out of their way to put meats with fruit, frozen with breads, and cans with anything fragile.

Clean. Open «late» (usually till 11pm). Prices are always lower than PickNSave. The meat quality is just okay. I will only buy meat from here if I am cooking it that day or the next. Produce is usually fully stocked but you have to pick thru to find the good stuff. Isles are labeled well and there is usually someone around to help. May not be the most pleasant person but I always throw back a super nice comment to try and make them smile. I frequently visit this store considering it is less than a mile away from home.

I’m done with the pig! Twice now we got salad (checked for best one) and got home and went to use it, half of its rotten and smells awful, wow waste of money. Produce quality is down a lot since it became piggly. Most items are too pricey, I can get cheaper at pick n save or Woodman’s. This place is in need of a good cleaning and better quality of food.

While doing some shopping today I remembered something about this piggly wiggly store. I have grabbed the deli fried chicken a couple times from here and it was pretty good compared to all the other stores doing fried chicken. A few times a year I grab fried chicken for a quick dinner and this is the only place I get it from now.
As far as the store goes it is your typical name brand store with great variety. One thing that is freaking awesome about this store is the express register at one of the doors. It’s awesome when you stop for a couple items you can get out really quick. It’s by the produce dept. I can always get in and out even at there busy times. This works so well and I have not seen anyone else doing this.
One thing that I don’t like is the lack of individual fresh rolls, some times I need just a couple and not a whole bag so I have to go else where.
