I’ve been reading up on this place and finally came here! Great craft beers available!!! All Lakefront beers on tap! Great prices too! Most bottles are $ 2. The owner is super nice and cool! Great hidden gem in West Allis!!! Definitely found my «neighborhood bar».

My friend and I came here to celebrate with a birthday drink — we usually go to Benno’s or Binary or Brass Monkey(wow, lots of B names there!), but wanted to switch it up and get out of our usual rut. We came in on a Thursday and it was pretty quiet. This is a nice small bar — don’t be fooled by the exterior! It’s cozy inside and has all the essentials(except ginger ale, but that can’t be held against them since lots of bars don’t have ginger ale — but they do have ginger BEER here!). There was another patron inside who was friendly. We ordered some drinks, which were great! The bartender(also owner maybe?) was a very cool guy and struck the right balance of friendly but also letting us have our space to drink and talk. He was courteous and catered to our comfort while we were there. The artwork collection is great! If I had to list a complaint, it would be that there was a faint odor of mildew/damp basement smell when we walked in, but it didn’t bother us while we were there. This is pretty common in pre-existing structures so it’s totally forgivable and not a problem since you’re there to DRINK anyway. Prices were reasonable and the beer selection was good! We also got a free drink token, so I’ll definitely be coming back to use that(though it’s pretty cool to walk around with a token in your pocket that says«The Drunk Uncle» on it, too — so I need to savor my Stallis street cred for a little bit first). Bonus for the ladies — there is a shelf in the bathroom. And YES, Unilocal — there IS bike parking out front! One of the really nice-looking City of West Allis bike posts.

Such an excellent place! When we walked in it appeared as though there was no space at the bar, but everyone moved around to squeeze us in. Excellent selection of beer, great bunch of people, and the owner, Neil, is hilarious and lovely! We ended up completely trashed on Lakefront beers and scotch and we only spent just over $ 30! Stallis gem!

My husband and I visited Drunk Uncle on a Friday night at around 9 and we were pleasantly surprised! There was a good mix of people surrounding the smallish bar counter. The beer was cheap, like $ 2 a bottle or pint cheap. These weren’t just Miller or Bud products for that price either. It was awesome! They played all 90’s music, which as a 90’s child I can appreciate that! The shuffle board table was nice and it was awesome to find one at a bar near our home in Stallis. The local artist Milwaukee themed art is a great touch against the clean white walls. All the tv’s had different sports on them from the x-games to women’s basketball. The bartender was great, funny, very friendly and generous since it was our first time being there. We will definitely return to the Drunk Uncle and you should go there too!

Went to DU’s for a Packer game and it was the most amazing experience ever. $ 2 everything and free Papa John’s pizza during the game. The two staff(one of which may have been the owner) were great. Tap selection consisted mostly of Lakefront Brewery beer, aka the water of the Gods. Overall, my friends and I have a blast.

I had the joy of discovering this gem last night. After years of hanging out in riverwest, east side and bayview I was craving a new adventure. Boy this was an adventure. They have everything great. Large tvs for sports, pinball, shuffle board, a totally rad beer selection, great prices on drinks and a stellar owner/bartender. The place has great art work and over all vibe. All you need is ginger ale and that would make it complete for me. Cheers and keep up the good work!

This is what a neighborhood bar should be. A dive? Yeah, but it’s a Jacques Cousteau dive, not one of those Steve Irwin kind. Neal and his dad, Greg,(the self-confessed hardest working man in bartending) are the nicest guys you will ever meet. The customers are always a joy, ready to express their opinions on everything from the Packers Defensive Line to the String Theory of particle physics, and I haven’t met one yet that isn’t as cute as a box of puppies and fun to hang out with. I you are in West Allis, go there. And if you are lucky, you might see the Swedish Womens Bikini Bowling Team throwing back Jäger Bombs with come-hither eyes. Seriously, it is a great place, wonderful clientele and as comfortable as your own living room. Except cleaner. Face it. When the Zombie Apocalypse comes, this will be my Winchester.

Definitely a diamond in the rough! My boyfriend and I randomly stopped in here just to have a drink on a random night out. At first the atmosphere doesn’t hit you right away, but once you’re sitting there you notice all the Lakefront Brewery taps they have available and then all the awesome local artist paintings on the walls! The women’s bathroom is painted royal purple, as a purple lover, I couldn’t leave that out! :) The owner Neil is very outgoing and from chatting with him he has a lot of experience in the owning and operating of bars/clubs in Milwaukee! Several times a year I believe they have Brewer packages that include a ticket, free beer for 2.5 hours, and a shuttle to and from the game. Overall atmosphere is awesome and we will definitely be back!

Great corner bar. Great friendly service. Decent prices. Not your typical corner bar. With beer signs all over. Has some really nice artwork hanging up on the walls. Done by a local artist.

This bar is great. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the drinks are cheap, and the selection is great. It’s hard to go wrong with all Lakefront Brewery on tap. The owner is awesome, and great guy to drink with. Definitely the best bar in West Allis, bar none.

This was my first and last time in this bar. I stopped in on a Saturday evening, the place was pretty empty, only a few locals sitting quietly in the bar. I came in right before shift change, the new bartender kicked the other bartender out, he seemed really pissed off about something. When the new bartender(I think his name was Neil) came on three of the four patrons left which left me alone in the bar. Neil did not ask me how I was doing or if he could get me anything, he seemed pissed off that he had to be there. I would have thought that being the only female in the bar he would be concerned how I was doing, he didnt even acknowledge that I was there. He went into the back somewhere and I just left leaving half of my drink as well. I didn’t find this bar very friendly and don’t think I will be coming back.

Great bar for hanging out! The owner is really nice and the prices are low. This is definitely a place that you can sit at the bar all night, have a great time with friends and not break the bank. Plus the original artwork hanging is awesome too!

A lot of fun, Neil is a fun guy. Been there with a co-worker and my gf. Very nice refreshing feel and great lakefront tap beer selection. Definitely not the same old stalls corner bar. I would recommend this place to anyone for drinks. Only downside is no food so this is a night time party spot, and party you will.

I grew up just down the street, and on returning to the hood to show my wife around where I lived we stopped in at this fine establishment. Great beers! All Lakefront Brewing goodness. The owner was the bartender and was great to chat about the neighborhood with. The art in the bar is pretty well placed and overall I am impressed at the vibe and atmosphere. The area is under a wave of change, but if this is the change the area is seeing, I am digging it. I wish this bar was in Denver where we live now. If it was we would be there every day! We will be visiting on any return trip to Stallis :)

Love this bar. The owner is so personable welcoming and friendly. Not your typical West Allis bar but a cut above the rest.

DIVEBARDONERIGHT!!! At first glance, this is your average Stallis Dive bar, but once you sit down and order one youll notice all 8 Tap handles are LAKEFRONT beers!!! Its like a «Tap Takeover» but its not just for one night, its FOREVER!!! I went in on a Sunday night and there was Wrestling on the TV and a whole bunch of dudes and chicks yelling at the at the TV as if they were watching wrestling in person! Some of the stuff they were saying had me on the ground laughing!!! Oh Yea, and Sundays is $ 2.00ANYTHINGS!!! Top shelf, bottom shelf, ANY beer! not just Miller like most bars in Dirty Stallis! I got wasted drinking taps of Lakefronts«My Turn» and I was only missing $ 12 the next day!!! Pinball & poker machines too! Give them a shake sometime, Im glad I did!!!
