Just moved into the area and found this place. Don’t let the location fool you, they are amazing there. They really treat your little one like its there own! I will be going here from here on out.

I have a 9 year old Golden Retriever and he has never gotten a better haircut than at Magic Paws. Penny is terrific! Everything is done out in the open, there are no hidden rooms. So happy we found Magic Paws! Thank you!

Being a new resident in Long Island without many references, I was at one point very puzzled with finding both a new vet and a new dog groomer for my two pups that are comparable to what I (and they) had in Boerum Hill Brooklyn. I came across all the good reviews from Unilocal on Magic Paws and decided to go for it. I am completely happy with how detailed of a job Penny did on my pups. They are real experts as it didn’t take a lot of instruction but they know exactly the best way different dogs should look. I am relieved knowing my pups are in good hands and I will continue to go back !

Amazing place to go! I don’t really review that much but i found it necessary to to review this great doggie groomer. My Roxy is normally a nervous wreck when she has to get a haircut but she absolutely loves it here and doesn’t feel the anxiety she had felt in other places I had taken care. They treat her so well and you can tell when it when I pick her up. Definitely 5 Stars!

I just want to start off by saying that I have a great deal of respect for the people over at Magic Paws. Especially the friendly lady named Penny who I just spoke with on the phone.
I’ve got a 4−5yo. short-​haired tabby-​cat, who has been an indoor cat for 100% of his life. Since he’s been an indoor cat for his entire life, he’s never really been exposed to any «real» outdoor-​grime that you may associate with an outdoor-​cat (like dirt, mud, fleas, etc.).
With all that being said, I know that a lot of sources say that cats don’t really need to be bathed, unless they get into something sticky and messy that won’t easily come out of their hair, since cat’s are pretty self-​sufficient at staying highly groomed and maintained on their own…
But as a human, I still figured that after 4 – 5 years of having an indoor cat who likes to lay on all kinds of floors and surfaces, that he had to have some sort of accumulated dirtiness after all these years…
I told Penny that I was interested in bringing him in today, and wanted to see what kind of prices would be involved to get my little guy a nice bath.
I advised her that my cat is highly skittish, is pretty much deathly-​afraid of anybody that’s not me, still has his claws, and gave me a horrifying experience when I once tried to get him into a warm bath a few years back. I felt it was the right thing to do to give her this disclaimer so she knew what she was potentially getting themselves into.
Penny told me that the full grooming package for a cat would be a little bit pricey – $ 125 plus tax – but that would include everything, which would be a bath, shave, nail trim, and ear cleaning.
This is when I gained great respect for the people at Magic Paws, especially the very nice lady, Penny, who just helped me on the phone.
She told me that if my cat is a healthy, 4−5yo. indoor cat, who doesn’t specifically have any sort of pressing issues with his cleanliness, that he’d be perfectly fine without needing to come in for their services.
At the end of the day, I’ve still never been to Magic Paws, or used any of their services beyond the simple phone call that I just made.
This review is based solely on the fact that Penny didn’t lie to me to have me come in and make a decent-​sized sale for services that she could provide, but didn’t think were necessary in my case.
Her honestly and morality to the consumer is something rarely ever seen these days. Most businesses would rather lie to the consumer to make a sale, than actually do what is right for the consumer.
I was so impressed by the honesty I had received on my phone call, that I called Magic Paw’s back up, just to ask for that nice lady’s name so that I could write this Unilocal review.

Magic Paws is the only grooming salon that I will ever use for my 3 dogs. The staff is friendly, professional and caring to your pets. The quality of work is excellent and the price is affordable. This is the only grooming salon that my dogs actually love. This is the only grooming salon that can completely groom my hard to handle Husky. My questions are always answered and they even helped me with some training concerns I had. Also they hand dry your dog so not only do they come out fluffier and shinier but they are not left in a cage with a blower on them like other places. My dogs come home clean, shiny, fluffy and smelling amazing. They also trim/​cut hair as you like it! I also used Magic Paws Photography and got such amazing photo’s of my dogs and the price is very affordable. Thank you!

Our Yorkie Lulu LOVES Antonio just as much as we do. The staff is super caring and pay attention to detail. Very easy to get an appointment. They have accommodated Lulu in last minute situations. I have and will recommend Magic Paw to all friends and family. LOVE LOVE MAGIC PAWS!!!

I’ve been bringing my dog here for about a year now and we have both been happy after every visit! It is easy to get an appointment and the staff is great.

We had a bad experience with our prior groomer we were using in Babylon Village so we checked Unilocal for a new groomer and found many great reviews for Magic Paws so we gave them a try… three visits later and we couldn’t be happier. Lucky (a shitzu) enjoys his grooming so much he doesn’t want to leave. The staff is attentive and friendly. Making an appointment is as easy as picking up the phone… no drama no attitude.

We love taking our puppy to Magic Paws. She always comes out looking so pretty and smelling so clean!!! Great staff. If you have a dog and need a groomer this is the place!!!

This is the best dog grooming salon that my dog has ever been to. The owner and his employees are so caring and nice. They do a fantastic job. My dog always came he looking great. They even went above and beyond and helped me with a solution to my dogs ear issue. I highly recommend this salon.

I read the reviews on Unilocal about Magic Paws and decided to try it out. I took my three pound, Yorkshire Terrier and seemed very comfortable as soon as I took him out of his bag. I always worry about leaving my dog anywhere because he is so tiny and not many people treat your baby the way you do. Antonio, the groomer (not sure if he is the owner) had his puppy, Luna there and Bailey seemed to like her as well. He allowed Bailey some play time and when I returned Bailey seemed happy and at ease. Bailey looked great and smelled delicious! I asked him not to cut too much from his face fearing that he would leave his face uneven. However, he shaped him up and now I wish he would have cut it shorter. It was the first time & I always get scared trying someone new. Now that I know he does a great job, I’ll ask for a shorter trim. I highly recommend this place and I’m happy I got a new groomer! Today was a good day :)

My dog is always so happy when here. They definitely take care of the dogs there. Antonio is great. My dog loves him and we will never go anywhere else. She always looks great, smells great, and you can tell she even feels great. He allows the dog play time so they can feel comfortable there and what makes me happiest is in the past at other groomers id bring my dog home and she’d drink two bowls of water. She comes home now and flaunts her stuff. She comes home neither tired, thirsty or hungry. They take great care of the dogs there and they do a great job! Have been going there since they opened and will be going there til forever.

Just had my four month old Miniature Schnauzer Zoey groomed today. Antonio was fantastic and very patient with her. She looks great and was happy as can be. Will definitely be my groomer from now on. Will definitely recommend to friends.

I used Magic Paws for the first time 2 weeks ago and they were great. I have 2 puggles and they both came out looking clean and well groomed. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I also bring my cat to them on Wednesdays for their free nail trimming and you don’t need an appointment. I highly recommend Magic Paws
