Stewart is an absolute artist and a pleasure to work with!
My best friend’s wedding was a week away and her venue included the wedding cake as part the package. We went to the bakery (Baked to Perfection in Port Washington) to choose the design, and the package options were horrific (buttercream roses and piping like on the cakes you see at supermarkets).
Our best solution was to leave the cake blank, and I would decorate the cake with sugar flowers. I scoured the internet (including Etsy) looking for a large sugar peony and cherry blossoms. I was hoping I could order them and have them delivered overnight, but knowing how long it takes to make these flowers, I was pretty worried.
By sheer luck, the most beautiful creations I found online were made by a local artist — Stewart Feldman. Even better, he accommodated the last minute request and had the flowers ready (to my exact specifications no less) within 3 days! Amazing!
The price was so reasonable (under $ 100 for 1 peony and 4 sprays of cherry blossoms). I would recommend working with Stewart for your cake whether you are a bride or a baker!
