The bakery is the best of the best. Seriously the highest quality doughnuts, bread, and hard rolls you can get. Try the sugar twists or the white long johns. I have people asking me where I got them every time I bring them to work. They don’t take cards though so be sure to bring cash.

Yummy old school breakfast for a cheap price. Somewhat limited menu, but good food none-the-less

No better donuts or hard rolls to be found around WB. Can be a little inconvenient to go get cash 1st, no cards.

Truly delicious donuts and fairly cheap too! Just be sure to have cash on yourself, since they don’t accept credit/debit cards

My family and I have eaten here on many occasions. Food is good, service is typically good. Drawbacks are that they don’t take plastic. In their defense, they do take checks, but then again, do people even carry checkbooks anymore? You won’t be disappointed with the food. Wish their menu had a little more variety. Service on this visit wasn’t stellar, but we have had great service in the past. Just an inexperienced server this time.

A popular place for the older generation. Breakfast food standards. Nothing stand out ish, nothing horrible. Get a hard roll. Also has a bakery with some yummy dognuts.

We come for the bakery. The restaurant is OK food at a very inexpensive price, nothing to write home about. Great place for a quick and cheap meal with the kids, but that’s about it. Stick to the bakery side and the fresh donuts. I love the cheese pockets on the weekends.

I barely give it 4 stars my wife barely gives a 3. She wasn’t happy with her omelet. I thought the french toast was good but not exceptional. I would say the restaurant is a safe bet for a good meal and it is really inexpensive. So the prices are pretty much unbeatable. The bakery side is really fantastic and super cheap. The cookies were on sale for 3.30 a dozen or 28cent a piece. I got a dozen cookies, 5 donuts, a specialty cookie and the whole works came to 8.50! Wow! They have breads, rolls all nicely priced. The cheesecake was 19.00 a pie. My wife didn’t like some of the cookies whereas I liked them but they are a different recipe. The oatmeal is a lighter crispier texture. The coconut cream cookies were delicious and light. so were the peanut butter cookies but again they use some sort of lighter dough that becomes almost powdery. Never had anything like it before and the dough is a little weird.

This is one of my most favorite places in the world! The food – breakfast or lunch – is so comforting. Everything is delish and incredibly well-priced!(Then again, I’m comparing it to prices in the SF Bay Area.) Service is good. The donuts are fresh, tortes are light, and the pecan cheese coffee cake is nothing like any of the other coffee cakes I’ve had anywhere else. Best thing on the breakfast menu: Egg Burger. There is actually no burger on this sandwich, but rather you get a fried egg, topped w/bacon, sautéed mushrooms, tomato and cheese. The hash browns are fantastic! So crispy all around – no potato mush in the middle. If you get toast of some kind, you will also get their homemade strawberry jam. So good! Not too sweet and tastes so fresh. The soups are great! The only names I can remember are Italian something, Canadian cheese. The peasant plate, I think it is called, is a salad sampler: tuna, egg, and chicken salad served with date nut bread.

Every now and then we go here just for a change of pace. Cramped seating, small portions and bland food. Definitely nothing special here food wise. The one ray of sunshine here is the home made preserves for your toast. The bakery side is much better than the restaurant, nice place to get some rolls or doughnuts or some fresh baked bread. They close early so that’s a little irritating but pretty good for a bakery.

Stick to the bakery side which is unparalleled for quality. The restaurant side is marginal at best. You’d expect better considering how good the bakery is but in the diner the wait staff can be indifferent and the food is pretty much SYSCO.

I loved this place as a kid, all of their baked goods are made from scratch and are very tasty. I would strongly reccomend it!

It seems like this place has been here forever! I remember coming here when I was a little girl! This is an ok place for breakfast, but I wouldn’t go there unless I was hungover. The wait staff under 50 has always been rude. The older folks know what customer service is all about! The bakery side is the best. Lots and lots to look at and drool over!
