Wisconsin Hospitality Group is closing this Pizza Hut at 1610 W. Washington Road in West Bend. Employees will have the option to transfer to other locations.
The restaurant’s final day will be Feb. 1.

WEST BEND –There will be one fewer business in West Bend after a restaurant has decided to close its doors permanently in February.
According to a news release, Wisconsin Hospitality Group announced it will be closing the Pizza Hut at 1610 W. Washington St. The restaurants’s final day of operation will be Feb. 1. The company did not cite a specific reason for the closing, except that management frequently changes assets because of strategic and financial reasons. The company operates more than 100 restaurants within Wisconsin and has various brands, including Applebee’s.
The release stated the restaurant’s lease was expiring in January and company officials decided to close the store rather than continue operating at the location. The company did not provide specifics regarding how many employees the closure will affect. «We will need to research the exact number of employees,» wrote Marketing Director Denise Harris in an email. «All employees were offered employment at our other locations.»
An internal fact sheet accompanying the release stated the company is not struggling financially and the decision was based on marketing and strategic grounds.
Harris added the company plans to build a restaurant with a new design in West Bend before the year ends. -

After my dining experience at Pizza Hut, I would definitely go there again mainly because their pizza is phenomenal as always and their staff is so friendly and will take care of business right away. Surprisingly enough I was the only person there to dine in tonight and it felt wonderful. They delivered the pizza quickly as I told them and the bill was set at a fair price. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who want fast and efficient service brought to them.

I ordered pizza and a assortment of sides. The pizza was good but the wings were not what I ordered. So I called to let them know and the man I talked to was literally the most rude person I have ever talked to. After talking to me like an idiot he sent over another order but I thew it away I fear that something was done to them. I will never go back or call again. My only question is after spending $ 45.00 on food and delivery when should I expect the business I give my money to ever to sound grateful? I will just go down the street to little ceasers! Way cheaper and the people are much nicer.

This Pizza Hut is really nice! It’s clean and the staff are friendly. They are also helpful. Though, not many customers. Which is okay. Like most Pizza Huts, they have the salad bar.

I placed an order for carry out. Just wanted one personal pan pizza. The lady on the phone didn’t seem to understand anything being told to her had to repeat everything twice. Then she told us specifically what time to come pick up the pizza we waited 15 minutes after she told us to be there. They did give us a free order of bread sticks that were not very good. Must have been sitting in the warming oven for a long time. I may go back but not for a while.
