Pooch Palace

I have taken our two dogs to be groomed twice within the last year. Customer Service is outstanding. I found the employees to be helpful and friendly. It is clear they enjoy taking care of the dogs. They keep records of previous service and ask about preferences. I like that the dogs are allowed to roam in the room where the employees are working both before and after the grooming and not put into cages. Our dogs look and smell wonderful. They each had a bath, hair cut, nails cut and ears cleaned. Well worth the money spent! I will definitely use them again when visiting my parents in West Bend!

We recieved a recommendation from a friend to try this place.
Our rescue dog is very outgoing, but sensitive to getting his nails trimmed and he is also averse to being forced into anything he doesn’t want to do, so we try to ensure he is as comfortable as possible with grooming, when grooming is needed.
We had them do a nail trimming and the ultrasonic teeth cleaning. Believe it or not there are not alot of places I have found that do teeth cleaning at a reasonable price and without putting your dog under anesthesia, or if a place does a cleaning it consists of brushing their teeth with dog toothpaste (no thanks!). This was his first teeth cleaning. Our dog’s breath went from ridiculous before the cleaning to neutral after it. He has a strong underbite so it can be hard to get to his upper teeth, but it appeared that all his teeth had been done.
His nails are almost all black and he has a strong aversion to getting them clipped. All of his nails were well-​trimmed. We were pleased with the results overall.
When we came back about 30 minutes later, he was happily hanging out in the front area of the salon, behind the desk, waiting for us. I forgot to mention to the individual that checked us in that he doesn’t kennel, so I was very relieved to see they didn’t cage him after they finished his cleaning and nail clipping! We know our dog well enough to say that we think they did a great job handling him.
The pricing menu does show some price ranges, and while I did have a pretty good idea of what the price would be, I was not exactly certain what the final price would be when I dropped off my dog. I found the final pricing to be very reasonable and we were very happy with our decision to visit this salon.

Took two goldens in for Bath no grooming, $ 90 later when I questioned why a bath was so expensive the only thing said was they did a good brushout. Done with them. I have been going there for yrs but when I just want a bath, that price is rediculous.

Hannah is GREAT (as is all the staff at the Pooch Palace!) My puppy, Odie, always looks super adorable after his grooming. He loves coming to see Hannah! He pulls me through the parking lot… he’s strong for a little dog! Hahaha! Prices are really reasonable, I highly recommend this business to all my friends!

Let me begin by explaining that our dog HATES being groomed in any way, shape or form. She cannot stand being brushed or combed and her vet’s office said they could not groom her unless they put her under for the process. She is a very sweet dog, but she will squirm away from a grooming as if her life depends on it. We decided to take her to Pooch Palace when a few friends said that they were the best in town. They were right! The groomers handled our trouble maker without a problem. They gave her time to get used to her surroundings, play with the other dogs and just ease her anxiety in general. They have successfully cut her hair (even if it has been too long between groomings and her hair has snarls) without incident many times over the past couple of years. We know that she is in good hands when we take her there. We will continue to use Pooch Palace for all of our grooming needs!
