Ace Hardware

This is a wonderful store! It has a very good selection and includes several high end items including tools and yeti coolers. It also has a better selection of chainsaws and lawn care equipment (other than mowers) than any of the large stores in the area. I never post, but I read a bad review and thought that the review so poorly represented the store I felt obligated to share my experiences.
As soon as you walk through the front door of the store you are welcomed and asked if you need help. In my opinion this is a very different experience than going to the larger stores where you have to search for 10 minutes to find someone who works there and then wait another 10 minutes while the first person you asked a question radios for someone else who might know the answer. Another thing I enjoy about this Ace Hardware, is the fact that it is very clean and orderly.
The thing I like most about this store however, is the fact that it is family owned. The entire family works there and cares about your experience at their hardware store. They have also made a positive investment to the community. The store has hired several employees who live locally including more than one person with some type of mental handicap. I only know this fact because a women who lives near me was saying how happy she was that they hired her son. This is exactly the type of store I want in my neighborhood and this is the type of store where I will be spending my money. I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Woo hoo! A new hardware store is opening and it is in the neighborhood. Hoping that this new location can flourish.
