Needed a little bottle of red wine for a pasta sauce I was making. They didn’t have one but the owner, Mazen, pulled a gallon jug of Chianti from under the counter and filled an 8oz container. Charged me a dollar. Now that’s service!

BEST beer, wine and liquor selection/​pricing in town! The employees at Windmill go out of their way to accommodate each and every customer! Mazen is not only entertaining but very helpful with selecting the right beverage for each individual’s liking. Did I mention the pizza?!? Definitely my one stop shop!

This place used to be on a postage stamp but the owners have built a liquor superstore in recent years. Service is very friendly and quite knowledgeable. They have one of SE Michigan’s best liquor selections with very competitive prices. Bourbon and scotch drinkers will love the on-​shelf selections. If they don’t have it, they’ll order it.
They added a food counter and have subs, pizza and other hot items. Skip the $ 5 ready pizza at the Greek down the street and order the large one-​topping pizza special for $ 5.99. Trust me, it’s worth it.
This time of year, they have a large selection of the X-​mas liquor packages that have shot glasses, rocks glasses, mugs, trinkets etc. Better than I’ve seen anywhere else. I also like the extras they have here such as deer carrots, sugar beets, deer apples and shelled corn for us deer hunters. Also, propane refills are well priced.
I make a point to stop here, every time I’m in the area.

BEST selection of bourbons in the area. Knowledgable, friendly staff. Steve, Mazin & Lennie are the best. Pretty great pizza as well.

This has been my go to stop for booze after work or when necessary since it’s close to home. The selection is great. I do wish they had smaller bottles of flavored vodkas. Ya know, airplane size. I just can’t commit to an entire fifth of some crazy flavor!
I’m not as impressed with the service anymore. I almost feel like I’m interrupting them when asking for something. At first I thought maybe it was a bad day, or it’s that one guy that’s unhappy, but no. It’s everyone all the time! When I’m a regular somewhere I guess I hope for a little extra attention.
I’ll continue to go here out of convenience, but I’m not going to be excited about it.

This place is great ever since the new store was built the have triple in size. There wine selection went from 2 isles to 4. The beer and liquor selection doubled. There prices are as good as anyone’s on wine, beer and liquor. He also has great pizza and must try calzones. If you haven’t been to Windmill since the new store you must check it out.
