Aj’s Pizzeria

Wife goes here all the time for work. She finally brought home a pizza. Greek style pizza… so good cooked perfectly. i like my pizza well done and it was perfect… lived up to the reviews my wife has been giving for awhile…

AMAZING! Food, service, price, quality, portions… AMAZING!

Two great things to say about this place:
1. Very generous with the toppings
2. They know how to make a veggie pizza: I’ve gotten soggy or undercooked veggie pizza from many other places in the area. Not here!
Plus, the guys who own the place are great.
Wish they had delivery.

Excellent takeout place. I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and have had excellent food every time. Their prices are very cheap and give you huge portions. I order here at least a couple days per week. My favorites are their pasta and meatballs and club sandwiches. The pizza and salads are great too. I always receive great service and they remember me on a first name basis everytime I call in. Much better than some of their nearby competitors. Very hardworking family

You know, I really appreciate the folks that work here — read through the other reviews, and you’ll see it. Always friendly. Truly, nothing to complain about, in fact much to appreciate. Order a «meat lovers:» it’s the most ridiculously over-​topped meat pizza ever. One slice will do you just fine. The pies are fine, the staff are great.
It’s a pizza place. Straight up. There are better, there are worse. I’m not a great fan of Greek pizza, and that probably colors my rating. It’s worth a try.

I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve eaten at AJ’s. Their salads are always fresh and their pizza is really under rated when it comes to comparing it to other pizza places around. It doesn’t hurt that the owners and workers are incredibly friendly and you can tell that they enjoy what they do. Great establishment! I’d choose AJ’s over any other place around to fill my pizza needs.

Great pizza… Try the AJ’s special if you’re a meat lover, and their subs are as good as you can get. Portions: Huge, but not the prices.

I have been here 3 times now and the guys are all business, but friendly as could be. Pizza and subs are great. ordered a salad today. Looks good!

Just about every Friday evening during the summer we order grinders from AJ’s. In fact, throughout the year my wife often orders from there on her way home to Holden from her job in Shrewsbury. They have one of the best tuna grinders around. We have also always been impressed with the quality of the food and the cleanliness of their establishment.
Last night I stopped in to pick up an order called in from a friend who calls in at least twice a week. It was particularly busy as one would expect and they were considerably behind in their orders. No problem, it’s worth wait. When I got the order I noticed that it seemed to be short an item so I called our friend to verify. Sure enough they had missed an order of Buffalo wings. No problem, they would get right on it. Knowing they were real busy I thought I would clarify that they were preparing «Buffalo» wings. The response I got was «You think I have nothing better to do but worry about your questions righ now?»
This response and attitude is inexcusable no matter how busy they were. I am very disappointed as there are very few good options for take-​out in West Boylston or Holden. However, we will NEVER order again from AJ’s and will spread the word on our experience.

Never disappointing. Great portions, great pizza, ok subs. Been going there for years and never had a bad experience. Cheesburger plate, best value in town.

AJ’s has 2 competitors down the street that are technically in worcester. 2 in West Boylston proper, and these are just the places with a name of ‘[word] Pizza” in the general area.
The pizza is very good, if you like greek, you’ll like it. If you like italian style pies, you’ll like it. It’s very much a chameleon pie. The dinners are exactly what you would expect from your typical pizza place, but they can usually feed 2 with a single order. It’s comical how heavy some of the bags I’ve carried out of there are.
The guys behind the counter are always great. I’ve never had a surly response, dirty look, or anything other then a smile and a pleasant interaction.
I can not say the same about the guys on the worcester line, so I appreciate the good service.
Go here when you want pizza, and/​or pizza related foodstuffs.

Best pizza joint. Their salads are amazing. Huge and delicious! Buffalo wings are irresistable. Pizza is good as well but I never get it because every thing else is soooo amazing!

I honestly have never gotten a pizza here, but the sandwiches and salads are awesome. Huge portions. Love their cheese steaks and their hamburger platter. Salads are gigantic and really good! Prices are very reasonable.
