Jan Pequeño

I highly recommend Jan. My 5 year old daughter started taking piano with Jan last year and lessons with Jan are one of our favorite things of our week. The other comments are spot on– Jan is very patient and professional.

Jan has been teaching both of my kids, 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter, for about a year now.
He is a great teacher, he is very patient and knows how to explain things to my kids so they understand, what he wants them to do. The progress they have made is great.
My daughter was very excited about learning the piano, and took to his teaching technique and direction without any difficulties. She is still excited to practice her piano.
My son, although excited at the beginning, has wavered a little. I didn’t want him to give up as things got harder. I spoke to Jan, who agreed, he shouldn’t give up until he was sure he didn’t want to learn guitar anymore. With Jan’s direction my son was able to pull thru a hard spot and has continued to make progress.
I definitely recommend Jan as a music teacher. He’s professional, punctual and very flexible with our busy schedule.

I took guitar lessons from Jan for six months. He was absolutely fantastic. He’s not only a great teacher and can help you make adjustments quickly to get the best out of every lesson, he’s just a great guy, too.
For the last six months he’s been teaching my 11 year old daughter and my seven year old son the piano. I couldn’t be any happier with the progress they continue to make every week. He keeps the kids interested in the process and makes adjustments to accommodate their abilities and ever changing interests.
